Nikita loves running long races. Her favourite is the Disney Marathon. She {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (run) the race in both 2019 and 2020. "It's the most fun marathon I've run, {#blank#}2{#/blank#} I can go through all the four fancy Disney parks." she says. "It's nice and flat for running. But crazily hot. {#blank#}3{#/blank#} heat in Florida is no joke." She laughs.

After several {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (year) of racing, she's now running for fun. "I'm just enjoying running without the pressure of training {#blank#}5{#/blank#} a race, which has been really nice," she says.

Like many of {#blank#}6{#/blank#} (we), Nikita finds that running makes her healthier. "I always feel {#blank#}7{#/blank#} (good) after going for a run," she says. Nikita likes {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (listen) to audio books on her runs.

Besides running, Nikita loves dogs, travelling {#blank#}9{#/blank#} reading. She has a dog named Mason. Mason is also a runner. "I once ran with him," Nikita says {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (happy). "He made it to the end."

Doing morning exercises is a daily activity in every Chinese school. For the adults, however, familiar schoolyards have already {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (take) place of by public parks. 

The morning scenes in central parks around China are {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (live). At every corner of the park, you can also see people practising many kinds{#blank#}3{#/blank#} sports: square dancing, badminton and so on. 

But the most eye-catching groups in the park are the so-called "Kung Fu Grandpas/ Grannies". Most of them are common workers from different industries who didn't start morning exercises {#blank#}4{#/blank#} they retired. They say age is just a number as long as they expect {#blank#}5{#/blank#} (be) healthy. 

The {#blank#}6{#/blank#} (advantage) of exercise are endless: a healthier body together with a slimmer figure and a {#blank#}7{#/blank#} (happy) mood. No matter how old they are or when during the day they exercise, they will always strengthen the body. 

Social connection is also {#blank#}8{#/blank#}the olds search for. Feng, who is seventy-two years old, plays Taichi every day. He {#blank#}9{#/blank#} (keep) this exercise for six years and now he is managing a WeChat group of 270 members who share the same hobby. 

"What I like about this place is that newcomers are always welcomed. Everyone in the park feels {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (include)," said Feng. It is like a special party of later life. 

Grace wasn't a popular kid in her school. The girl, Ashley, was popular and had many friends. They were in the same class 1 didn't talk much.

Reading is really important. Hopefully, we can get  {#blank#}1{#/blank#}（知识；学问）through reading, which not only broadens our horizons, but also makes us  {#blank#}2{#/blank#}（有判断力的；明智的）and happier. Moreover, our school studies can be greatly {#blank#}3{#/blank#}（影响）if we keep reading, and our future will become brighter. 

However, some students spend too much time  {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (使用) their mobile phones to listen to music, watch movies or play online games. So I would like to suggest that everyone should do more reading of good books, {#blank#}5{#/blank#}（尤其；特别）Chinese classic novels every day. In this way, we can  {#blank#}6{#/blank#}(传播；展开）our Chinese traditional culture. Meanwhile, we can enrich our minds quite a lot by reading regularly and it is also good for us to get fully developed and it can help improve our writing  {#blank#}7{#/blank#}（能力）. Surely, we can read books  {#blank#}8{#/blank#}（独自；单独）, or with our friends.
