Do you enjoy eating hamburgers , hot dogs（热狗） or French fries（薯条）? Do you like coke, sweets or ice cream? If your answers are " Yes" , you must be careful with your health , because most of them are junk food(垃圾食品)!

Many people like fast food. McDonald's and KFC are popular fast food restaurants around the world. You can order your food and drinks right away at the counter(柜台).You can get your meal in three minutes. Then you can eat there or take it away.

But all these food is junk food. Junk food has lots of fat, salt and sugar, but few nutrients(营养物).Most doctors say junk food is not healthy. It is bad for your teeth, stomach(胃) and heart(心脏).

In fact, it's OK to have junk food sometimes. You can have it twice a month. And it's not a big thing for your health. But you'd better not (最好不要)eat junk food more often.

① Animal behavior is an interesting and attractive study. Scientists research the ways animals use to look for food. They study how animals protect themselves from their predators, and which animals kill other animals for food. All of this helps us understand how useful animals can be.

② Each country or culture raises some animals for food. In the United States, people mainly eat meat from cows, chickens and pigs. In some other countries, people might raise sheep or buffalo for meat. These differences come in part from weather and other environmental conditions (状况). People around the world eat al kinds of fish and shellfish from oceans and rivers. In some countries, people don't always choose some animal groups, such as dogs, for food while in other countries such animals may become people's favorite food.

③ In West Africa, animals provide humans with more than food. They have been helping people do daily work for thousands of years. Horses, oxen, and other work animals pull heavy things. Elephants, camels and other animals carry people and things from place to place. Carrier pigeons (信鸽) have been used to send messages.

④ People also receive health benefits (利益) from animals. For example, dogs and cats can help calm people down. This is helpful for people fighting illnesses. Animals can also reduce stress, helping people to draw their attention to learning new information, such as reading. When people are walking their dogs or horses, it encourages exercise.

⑤ Animals and humans share space on Earth, so keeping a healthy relationship with animals around us is in our best interest.

Wuxi City in eastern China's Jiangsu Province is known as the 'Home of the erhu" because it is the birthplace of many erhu masters.  Looking around Wuxi，you can often hear the beautiful sound of the erhu. The erhu was called the huqin at first, a musical instrument of ethnic(种族的)groups in northern China，and it dates more than a thousand years back to the Tang Dynasty. In modern times，with the development of operas, the huqin was renamed the erhu and it slowly spread throughout China. 

The erhu plays a leading role in many Chinese folk orchestras(管弦乐队)just as the violin does in Western orchestras. They are both made up of a body，a bridge，strings(弦)and a bow(弓). 

The performer usually holds the erhu straightly on the leg,▲and pressing the strings with his fingers, while drawing the bow with his right hand. As the bow runs against the strings and touches and shakes them, beautiful music comes. 

Not limited (限制)by just two strings，a good player can give the erhu amazing emotional expressions. It can present both soft, lovely songs and sad music. Sometimes it gives a human crying voice, and sometimes a great horse-running sound. 

Today, as a folk instrument, the erhu has been used more widely by communicating with Western musical instruments. In many international concerts, the erhu can be seen playing with different Western instruments, such as the piano，violin and guitar. This performance form not only adds new possibilities to music creation，but also brings richer enjoyment to the listeners.
