Life in space is much different from life on the earth. How do astronauts live in space?

Eating

In the past, astronauts {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (eat)only small pieces of dried food. But now astronauts are able to have more everyday food like fruit, vegetables and ice cream.

Sleeping

All the people in the ISS(国际空间站) have {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (they) own rooms. They have to tie (绑) themselves to their beds, or they'll fly away! That seems like {#blank#}3{#/blank#} strange way to sleep. But astronauts say it's not so bad 

{#blank#}4{#/blank#} (sleep) in space.

Exercising

This is {#blank#}5{#/blank#} (important) in space than on the earth. Astronauts exercise on bikes and other machines 

{#blank#}6{#/blank#} ab out two hours every day. In this way, they can be healthy when they get back home.

Having Fun

Astronauts can read books, play cards, listen to music or send emails to their friends and families {#blank#}7{#/blank#} they aren't working. Sometimes they just sit and look out of the window {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (quiet). It's also much fun!

Astronauts are hard-working whether in space or on the earth. {#blank#}9{#/blank#}the work sometimes is difficult, they still show interest in it and love the job. Many students think {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (astronaut) lives is very funny and they also want to be astronauts in the future.

More than 50 years have passed since anyone set foot on the Moon. But soon, astronauts will return there with a new type of spacesuit (宇航服). Those old ones were really heavy and didn't fit every astronaut well, especially for women. So, NASA has to make some changes to them for the first time in 40 years. 

"The astronauts will find big improvements in these spacesuits" said NASA engineer Carly Meginnis. The new suit has more joints (关节), especially in the lower part of the body. This will offer astronauts more flexibility to perform tasks like kneeling and walking (not "rabbit jumping") on the moon. The gloves need to be protective and allow astronauts to do work as freely as possible. The new gloves have heaters (加热器) to keep fingers warm, since fingers become the coldest parts of body in space. Also, the spacesuit has a cooling system with water moving around to take away the unwanted heat. Another change is that the new helmet (头盔) provides a better view for astronauts. It even adds lights and an HD camera inside to take clearer videos. 

There are still some problems that need to be solved. For example, it still takes up to four hours to put on the spacesuit, even with the help from their partners (搭档). Moreover, scientist hope that spacesuits will be able to be designed to help astronauts work together with robots in the future.

In the year 2070, most of you will be more than 50 years old. The good news is that travel might become smarter by that time. To catch people's eyes and increase the numbers of passengers, European airline (航空公司) easyJet has made some predictions and released (发布) easyJet 2070: The Future Travel Report. Let's take a look at some mind-blowing ideas.

Have a heartbeat passport. Paper passport will be a thing of the past. You will use "heartbeat passport" instead. According to experts, the machine will count how many times the heart beats in a minute, then it will tell who you are. It doesn't work hard because everyone's heart beats differently.

Enjoy more comfortable flight. The seats on the plane are only one size, which can't make passengers fulfilled. But in the future you'll be able to book a seat according to your body type. The seat might even be able to cool or warm you if you want. There will also be no more screens on the back of the seats. A special light from the seat could show the latest movies straight in front of your eyes.

Bring history back to life. If you like to visit great places of interest, the AR glasses will help you enjoy the journey. By wearing the AR glasses, you can see what happened at a historic place, such as a famous battle (战役). You may even be able to sit among the cheering people at the first Olympic Games.

Loss of living space：People cut down forests for farming and building houses. People build dams （水坝） to make sure they have enough water. While we make our lives comfortable，other animals have less and less space. 

 We can find Chinese people growing vegetable tirelessly in every corner of the world. When the Chinese move into a house in {#blank#}1{#/blank#} foreign country, they always grow vegetables in the garden. Even at the frozen South Pole(南极), there's a" vegetable greenhouse" bulit up by the members of Zhongshan Scientific Research Station, which {#blank#}2{#/blank#}(true) provides enough vegetables. Such a difficult situation cannot stop those scientists love for vegetable growing.

{#blank#}3{#/blank#} more cheap and fresh vegetables are being placed on the shelves of supermarkets, the Chinese people's love for growing vegetables themselves never goes away. Besides, some people even bulid virtual(虚拟的) farms in smart phone {#blank#}4{#/blank#}(get) the pleasure of growing vegetables.

 Why do many {#blank#}5{#/blank#}(Chinese) grow vegetables in both {#blank#}6{#/blank#}(day) lives and the virtual world?

 Such love comes from the Chinese history. To fill {#blank#}7{#/blank#}(they) stomachs, Chinese people have formed a tradition of working hard. In China's culture, working hard {#blank#}8{#/blank#}(solve) the stomach problem and studying satisfies the hunger for knowledge.

And now, smarter technologies are used for growing vegetables. Even in the outer space, Chinese astronaut Jing Haipeng showed how he {#blank#}9{#/blank#}(grow) vegetables in the space lab of Tiangong-2 space station. Nothing can stop the Chinese {#blank#}10{#/blank#} growing vegetable . The" Chinese vegetable gardens" are producing hopes across the world, and they also carry the best wishes of the Chinese people to their ancestors.
