Who is Dimash(迪玛希) Kudaibergen? Weeks ago, nobody knew about him in China. But now he has many Chinese fans. 

Dimash, 24, is a singer from the Republic of Kazakhstan(哈萨克斯坦). He took part in the {#blank#}1{#/blank#}(唱歌) competition(比赛) Singer 2017 on Hunan TV. He sings {#blank#}2{#/blank#}(好) and has a pretty {#blank#}3{#/blank#}(脸). That made him {#blank#}4{#/blank#}(受欢迎的) very fast. After singing a traditional French song, he got over 300, 000 followers on Weibo.

Before coming to China, Dimash was already well-known in his country. His talent in music {#blank#}5{#/blank#}(来) from his family. His grandparents and parents are all {#blank#}6{#/blank#}(音乐家). At {#blank#}7{#/blank#}(五), he learned to {#blank#}8{#/blank#}(弹) the piano and sang in a choir(合唱团). He has won many musical awards. In 2015, he won the first place at the International Slavic Bazaar Festival.

Last Sunday evening, my parents went shopping with my sister. But I studied alone at home because I would have an English test. Suddenly, I saw bright light in my neighbour（邻居）'s kitchen. I thought he was cooking so I went on studying. 

Soon, there was a terrible smell in the air and I thought something was wrong. I went out and saw fire coming out of my neighbour's kitchen. So I shouted "Fire! Fire!" But no one heard or came out. 

I ran quickly into my house to call 119, and then I rang my neighbour's doorbell and knocked at the door, but still there was no answer. I got into the house through the window and found my neighbour sleeping in his bedroom. I woke him up and we rushed out of the house together immediately. 

We tried our best to pour（泼）water through the kitchen window, but the fire was too big. Luckily, the firemen came and put out the fire quickly. When my parents came back, they found I was dirty and tired. After my neighbour told them the whole story, they were happy and said I was a brave（勇敢的）boy.

Every Saturday, Wang Weifang puts on a play with his fiends in a small town near Xian. The audience(观众)can hear them, but they cannot see them. That is because they are putting on a shadow puppet(皮)play. Shadow puppets are made of hard leather(皮革). The leather is cut out in the shape of a person, an animal or an object. Each puppet is painted in bright colors and put on a stick. Some puppets have movable arms and legs. 

During a shadow puppet play, Wang stands behind a white screen with lights behind it. The audience sit in front of the screen. Wang and his friends hold the puppets very close to the screen so that the audience can see the puppets' shadows clearly. Then they move the puppets around and do the voices of the different characters. 

Shadow puppet play is a kind of ancient Chinese art. Now with TV and films, shadow puppet plays are not as popular as before. Wang and his friends often work very hard for little money, but they do not mind. They want to keep this traditional art form alive.
