A report by the National Health Commission (NHC)showed the health condition (状况)of Chinese people recently. 

About 34. 3 percent of the Chinese aged 18 and older are overweight (超重). Of children aged between 6 and 17, about 11 percent are overweight. More than 10 percent of children under 6 are overweight. 

"Having many kinds of food high in sugar and oil and few vegetables and fruit is the main reason for the rising weight of Chinese people, "said Zhao Hua, a health expert. 

Today's Chinese people are living an unhealthy life. They move less than ever before, and what's more, they spend lots of time using smart-phones, according to Zhao. However, Zhao believes if people try to change their unhealthy habits, it will be possible for them to live a better life and stay away from many illnesses. 

To help people live healthily, food factories should make more healthy food, and at the same time, people should learn the importance of health, how to eat healthily and how to exercise properly. 

Here are some important rules for you to become a good student at school. 

Go to school on time.

 When I was a kid, I really liked eating candy apples, which are popular snacks in the United States and Britain. Every winter in Beijing, there is {#blank#}1{#/blank#} kind of candy I like to eat, too. The food is tanghulu and it's {#blank#}2{#/blank#} the candy apples of my childhood. 

 It is a {#blank#}3{#/blank#}( tradition) Chinese snack, with fruit, always Chinese hawthorns(山楂) on a stick of bamboo and covered with sugar candy. It first{#blank#}4{#/blank#}( come) from northern China, but it can be found in every Chinese city now. 

 Although it can be enjoyed year - round, {#blank#}5{#/blank#}( foreign) often think of tanghulu with winter. This is probably because there are many tanghulu vendors(摊贩){#blank#}6{#/blank#}( ride) their bikes through the streets in winter, selling the sweet treat. 

 There is an {#blank#}7{#/blank#}( interest) fact behind tanghulu's name. Tang means"sugar", which makes sense, because it is a sweet snack. But hulu means"bottle gourd(葫芦)". {#blank#}8{#/blank#} ? Some people think tanghulu has the same shape as a bottle gourd. That's the reason for {#blank#}9{#/blank#}( it) name. 

 Chinese hawthorns are good for health. In China, it is used to make tanghulu. In many other {#blank#}10{#/blank#}( country), people also use the fruit to make different foods. For example, in Mexico, Chinese hawthorns are used to make jam and candy. In South Korea and Japan, they are used to make wine. 

Sunday, April 30^th

Today I started the science homework — to grow sunflowers in the garden. After buying some seeds(种子), I dug holes in the garden, put the seeds in and covered them with the soil(土壤). Finally, I watered the soil. I am so happy that I can't wait to see what will happen tomorrow.

Monday, May 8^th

I can't forget what I found today when I watered the soil. Two green leaves(叶) came out of the soil and looked little and lovely. I was so excited that I took a lot of photos.

Tuesday, May 16^th

Today I found some stems(茎) were nearly 5 cm high, and more leaves came out. They really look like plants now. The garden goes greener. Now the most relaxing thing for me is to stay in the garden, looking after those green friends.

Saturday, July 15^th

I saw the first flower today! It is yellow. How lovely it is! The others are growing taller and their buds(花蕾) are becoming bigger. I will have more sunflowers! 60 days is a long time but it is worth the wait and the work. I find that the growth of the sunflowers helps me grow up, too.

①Recently, a short video series named Escape (逃离) from the British Museum came out on Bilibili and became a big hit in Chinese network. The video tells the story of how a Chinese relic escapes from the British Museum and finds its way back to China. A girl acts the role of an ancient Chinese jade (玉石) teapot. The teapot came alive and tried to find a way home. Later, she happened to meet a reporter on the street. The reporter's black eyes and yellow skin made her feel warm. With the help of this reporter, she finally went back to China. After returning home, the teapot quickly visited local museums and read "letters" written by other relics that are still in the British Museum.

②"My family, I have been lost for a long time," and "One day, I will finally be back." are lines (台词) in those letters. They moved the viewers deeply.

③The series were made by two Chinese young vloggers. They got this idea at the beginning of this year from a suggestion online. It advised creating a cartoon about relics coming to life and returning for Chinese New Year.

④They turned this idea into a video and stayed in the U.K. for three months, looking for information and making it. They said they are so glad that people are caring more about those Chinese cultural relics in the British Museum. That is also what they really want to do—making the young people care more about Chinese culture and history.

⑤In fact, some other countries also share the same calls for the return of their relics. Many African and Asian countries questioned about the rights for the British Museum to hold their relics as well. ____
