Some of my friends think I have a boring daily life, but I like 1 .

Jordyn Perez is an American girl. Jordyn was about to turn eight years old when her mother advised her {#blank#}1{#/blank#} her birthday in a new way. "How about donating(捐赠) your gifts to a children's hospital?" her mom asked.

Now Jordyn is in high school, but she has continued to bring {#blank#}4{#/blank#} to kids in hospital. Last Christmas, her eighth yearly gift donation {#blank#}5{#/blank#} . It was for a children's hospital in San Antonio, Texas.
Children can be in hospital for lots of {#blank#}6{#/blank#} . But whatever the illness, a hospital stay can be stressful. Efforts like Jordyn's are a bright spot during a difficult time.
Jordyn's gift-giving project begins each year in November. When she invites her friends to her birthday party, each {#blank#}7{#/blank#} includes a list of gift ideas for kids in hospital. Jordyn also shares the list with her family and her school volleyball coach and teammates. With {#blank#}8{#/blank#} help, the number of donations "grows every year," she says. Then, it's time to share the gifts with the children in hospital. "These gifts put smiles on the faces of these little patients. That's the {#blank#}9{#/blank#} thing I've ever cared about," Jordyn says.
Jordyn has also encouraged others to follow in her footsteps. Some of her friends {#blank#}10{#/blank#} a and donated gifts for their birthdays so far. "It just makes you feel good to give to others," Jordyn says. "I want to keep doing this as long as I can."
