Mr Chen is a farmer who lives in {#blank#}1{#/blank#} China with his wife and two sons. One year ago, he had cancer. The doctor told him that he needed a(n) {#blank#}2{#/blank#}at once, and it would cost much money. Chen's family is very poor. The situation seemed{#blank#}3{#/blank#}.

Two weeks later, however, Mr Chen {#blank#}4{#/blank#}some good news. He {#blank#}5{#/blank#} about a health care project which provides medical {#blank#}6{#/blank#} for poor families in China. They only need to pay half the cost or even {#blank#}7{#/blank#}

Thanks to the project and the kindness of his family and neighbours, Mr Chen was able to receive an operation to prevent the illness from getting worse. Now he {#blank#}8{#/blank#} to his family. So far, the project {#blank#}9{#/blank#} more than 5,000 people receive medical aid. The Chinese government {#blank#}10{#/blank#}together with other countries and international organizations to do this at present. They hope to develop a new health care model for China.

Last month, I went to Australia and had great fun there. My first stop was Sydney. I visited the Sydney Opera House first, then the Bondi Beach. On the beach, I saw many people lying （躺）in the sun. I never saw this in my country. It was very interesting. 

The next morning, I went to Fraser Island. The island is about 122 km long. It has beautiful lakes and beaches. I joined a Fraser Island camp with some friends. We drove a car around the island. We swam and enjoyed a barbecue （烧烤） on the beach together. We had a wonderful time. 

However, there were also many problems, One was that I couldn't speak English well. I wanted to talk with people there and make friends with them. But I didn't know what they said. Because of this, I often lost my way, too. Luckily, people there were so kind to give help. 

From the trip I feel that the world is small. I come to know that I have to study English very hard. 

Riding a bike is a healthy and fun way of exercising. But when riding, we must be careful. Last month, I had a serious 1 when I rode my bike.

It was a warm sunny day. Dad and I 2 to go bike riding. When I rode, I could feel the wind blowing on my face. How 3 and comfortable! Then I started going faster and faster. "Slow down!" Dad called after me. 4 I kept riding very fast. 5 , my bike hit something! I lost 6 of the bike and fell off it. When I got up, I found that my 7 were broken. Dad took me to the dentist's office right away. The dentist gave 8 some treatment (治疗). The next two days I didn't go to school.

When I was a child, I was never really very interested in nature. Then one day my aunt bought me a {#blank#}1{#/blank#} for my birthday. It was called Birding on Borrowed Time. When she gave it to me, I was a little {#blank#}2{#/blank#}. It didn't seem very interesting, and I wanted new games for my phone. My aunt made me promise {#blank#}3{#/blank#} it. So I did, and I loved it. I found it was so interesting that I {#blank#}4{#/blank#} forgot about time. In fact, I didn't do anything else {#blank#}5{#/blank#} I finished it-- no TV, no games, nothing. As soon as I finished the book,I went out and bought a pair of binoculars(望远镜).

After that, I {#blank#}6{#/blank#} watching birds was one of the most interesting things in the world. To watch the birds, I needed to read books to learn about birds. Now I know more birds' {#blank#}7{#/blank#} than before. I can tell what they look like, how they fly and where to find {#blank#}8{#/blank#}.

Watching birds is interesting but not {#blank#}9{#/blank#}. Sometimes I have to stay in one place for a long time, and I have to take heavy binoculars and cameras with me. But when you find a beautiful bird and {#blank#}10{#/blank#} photos of it, it is really exciting.

Do you think there will be a robot in hospitals? If you go to a hospital in London, you'll see a new doctor there. He is very clever. He can work 24 houts a day and never gets tired. He is Dr Robot. 

Doctors often need to ask their patients a lot of questions, and it always takes them a lot of time to do that. But Dr Robot can ask patients questions for an hour if it is necessary. With the help of Dr Robot, a human doctor can have a lot of useful information when he meets his patients. 

How can Dr Robot do this? A computer "tells" him what to do. Dr Robot can do a lot of things that people can do, though he can't completely replace human doctors.
