Dragon Boat Festival is a fun Chinese holiday. Usually, it's in June or July. Both children and adults（大人）like this holiday.

First, there are dragon boat races. Dragon boats are very long. They have bright colours, In each boat, there are many people rowing（划）. There's also somebody beating a drum（击鼓）. The winners（获胜者）of the races can get a lot of money.

During Dragon Boat Festival, people also eat a special kind of food-rice dumplings. To make these dumplings, people prepare（准备）many things. Then they can make different flavors of dumplings. Some are sweet（甜的），some are salty（咸的）. They all taste good. People give them to friends.

On the evening of the holiday, families have a big meal together. Dragon Boat Festival is a great time for everybody.

Our Art teacher is not young. He has black hair, two big black eyes, a small nose and a big mouth. Look, he is wearing a white jacket, a blue hat, brown trousers and a pair of old shoes. He's very funny and nice. We all like him.

I have many friends. Are they my pets (宠物)? No. Are they my classmates? No. Let me tell you. They are my favourite books. I like reading science books and physics books. They help me know how to be a clever boy. I have much fun when I read them.

Duanwu Festival, or the Dragon Boat Festival, is celebrated everywhere in China. It is a t{#blank#}1{#/blank#} festival when people can have three days o{#blank#}2{#/blank#}. There are many activities,i{#blank#}3{#/blank#} dragon boat races, eating zongzi, hanging healthy herbs and so on.

The most important activity of this festival is the Dragon Boat races. Competing teams drive their colorful dragon boats forward as quickly as they can. All the people cheer for them b{#blank#}4{#/blank#} the river. They believe the {#blank#}5{#/blank#}（响亮的）their voice is, the faster the dragon boats will run. This opinion {#blank#}6{#/blank#}（留下，保持）unbroken. As for the food, a very popular {#blank#}7{#/blank#}（盘；菜肴）during the Dragon Boat Festival is zongzi. Eating zongzi shows people's miss for Quyuan who d{#blank#}8{#/blank#} two thousand years ago.

This month is also a {#blank#}9{#/blank#}（度假旺季；节期）that insects and pests are active and people are more likely to catch diseases. Chinese will hang lucky leaves on the doors or windows for people believe they can clear the bad luck of the house and the insects are {#blank#}10{#/blank#}（不能的）to come close to their houses.

Although the meaning of the festival might be different from the past, it still gives people a chance to know the rich Chinese culture.

When you think of the sea,you may not think of Xinjiang.In the public impression,Xinjiang is often remembered as somewhere far from the sea with long hours of sunlight,a vast Gobi desert,and mountains with a dry climate, unsuitable for seafood production because of the great amount of water needed.      However,Xinjiang now welcome a big harvest of local"seafood",such as shrimp and crabs.The most important thing for 'seafood' products is water

Xinjiang has many rivers and lakes with water from the melting snow and glaciers of the Tianshan Mountains

"With the mountains on the side, there is almost no pollution,which keeps the water clean and favors the growth of the fish,"said Li Chunyu,the head technician of the local farm.

Also, land in Xinjiang has a lot of salt.This is not good for growing crops.But"one man's  rubbish is another  man's  treasure".The  land  makes  the  underground  water  salty.People  turn  it  into  "man-made

seawater".They then use it to raise sea fish,shrimp and crabs

Many people are worried about the safety of seafood because of the nuclear-polluted water(核污染水) Some  even  feel  upset  since  they  may  no  longer  enjoy  any  seafood.Luckily,in  2024,the  production  of Xinjiang's  "seafood"has reached to 86000 tons.Now,some  of Xinjiang's "seafood"goes to many  cities in China.It also goes to countries in  Southeast Asia.It turns out that Xinjiang's"seafood"is becoming a new and favorable choice for seafood lovers.

There is a big zoo in my town. I often go there with my parents on the weekend. It's about thirteen kilometres from my home to1 zoo. And it usually takes my father about twenty minutes2 there. To get there earlier, I always eat very quickly. Then we leave home 3 8∶30. I like pandas so much. First, there are pandas only in China, 4 it's difficult to see them in other countries. Second, they are one of China's symbols(代表) . 5 friendly they are！But now there're not so many pandas, so we must save6 . 

Now, my parents and I7 the panda Yinke in the zoo. He is 8 . He eats lots of bamboo. He's really smart. He 9 and climbs trees. I want to give him some food to eat. But there are many10 in the zoo. I must follow them.
