Jim's Family Rules

Jim is good student at school. He never breaks (违反) the school rules. All of his teachers like him a lot. But he is not a good boy at home. He doesn't clean his room. He puts his books here and there. He goes to bed very late and reads books in bed. So Jim's mother makes some family rules for him.

I am reading a book when my little brother Tex and sister Indi run into my room. They are so noisy, so I feel very angry. Then they are quiet and say sorry to me. But I refuse(拒绝)because I'm still angry with them for stopping my reading.

Just then, my friend Ollie comes with his new football. He asks me to play football. I like playing football, so we go out together. Right then, Ollie's football falls onto the sidewalk(人行道), so we run to catch it before it goes into the street. Then we play football until we feel a little tired. 

After that, I suddenly hear many birds singing and they are so sweet. I find my problem is solved( 解决).So, if you are in a bad mood (心情不好), it's important to do something interesting to relax(放松).

I have some friends. They are Lily, Mary, Peter and Li Ming. Lily is a cute girl. She is from the USA. She has big blue eyes. She likes singing. Mary is helpful. She is from the UK. She is very quiet. She likes reading and drawing. Peter is a friendly boy. He is from Canada. He is tall and thin. He likes playing football. Li Ming is my best friend. We are of the same age(同龄). He is tall and strong. And who am I? I'm Sandy. I'm ten years old.

Lily went to Sanya with her friends on her holiday. They went there by train. They went to the beautiful beach. The weather was sunny and hot. So they had great fun playing in the water. They ate lots of fresh fish for lunch. In the afternoon, they rode bikes. Jack fell off his bike and hurt his leg. So Jack stayed at the hotel and watched TV. On the second day, Lily took many pictures of the sea.  Anyway, they had a good time.
