Birdwatching is becoming more and more popular in many parts of the world.

Birdwatchers enjoy looking for and listening to different kinds of birds. To watch birds, all you need is a pair of binoculars, a field guide and your love for birds.

If you are just starting birdwatching, buy a pair of cheaper binoculars. A field guide helps you learn about the birds' appearances, calls and habits before birdwatching.

When you are ready, it's best to go to the wild with someone who is more experienced. You can join a birdwatching group to learn about some beginning skills.

Start birdwatching in the morning, when birds are searching for food. Most of the time, you will hear birds' calls from all around you, but you will not see any birds easily. Look for the movement in trees, and bring your binoculars to your eyes. The most important work for a birdwatcher is to identify（识别） the birds he/she sees. A bird's shape, size, colour and habits can help a birdwatcher identify it. When you identify a bird, don't forget to take notes about it on your notebook.

To find more and different birds, you may wish to plan trips to birds' different living areas: forests, lakes, rivers, wetlands, etc.

When watching the birds, you should always keep in mind: resp ect wildlife and protect their living areas.

 Dana loves to read." If you' re reading, you can be in your world and do almost anything you want," she says.

 The Harry Potter books are her favorite. To Dana, all books have their own magic(魔力). She joined a book club at her school. One holiday, she did some research(调查) about books with her classmates. She learned that in richer places, each family had about 10 books. However, in poor places, there might be only one book for every 300 kids. Some kids never visited a library. She decided to change this.

 At the age of thirteen, Dana started a club called Reading Heart to share her love of reading. People donated(捐赠) books to her club. Then Dana and her friends gave them out to kids in schools, hospitals in poor places. In four years, they gave away nearly 400,000 books!

 After kids chose their books, they could keep the books. But when they finished reading, they shared them with a friend.

 Dana thinks that sharing books is like building small libraries for each kid. She enjoys helping others find the magic of reading.

My name is Eric Black. Black is my 1 name. I'm from New York. Now, I 2 in Beijing with my parents. I study in the International Language（语言）School and learn 3 in it. Every day, I get up 4 at 6:10, because I need to go to school by bus. I can't 5 Chinese very well so I study very hard. Sometimes it is 6 for my classmates to understand me.

I make some friends at school. Li Ming is my new friend. His English is good. He often helps me learn Chinese. He is 7 . He usually goes to school on foot because it's good for his 8 . After school, we 9 many topics（话题）, like weather, sports and food. I'm a member of the Music Club. I like 10 Chinese songs. And Li Ming is in ping-pong club.

And many Chinese people go to Paris to see Chinese players in this Olympic Games. Pan Zhanle is one of the most famous players because he wins (赢) the first place of the swimming game. Many students likes him after watching his game. After Li Wenwen wins the women's +81kg title, Chinese players wins 91 medals (奖牌) in this Olympic game and 40 of them are gold medals.
