A model of the Legoland Shanghai Resort(上海乐高乐园度假区模型) made its first appearance in November 2022. 40 designers and model builders spent  {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (一半) a year working on it.

The resort covers an area of more than 318,000 square meters in Jinshan District which is very  {#blank#}2{#/blank#}(方便) for visitors to go to. It will be made up of a theme (主题) park and a theme hotel. In the theme park, visitors will find most of the popular rides(游乐设施) of Legoland parks around the world.

The park will  {#blank#}3{#/blank#}(包括) 8 areas. One of them is Monkie Kid, which became a new logo theme in 2020. It's based on the Monkey King. It was designed in 2019 to  {#blank#}4{#/blank#}(连接) Chinese children with the traditional culture. Also, it will be  {#blank#}5{#/blank#} (流行) with the children from other countries.

The construction of Legoland Shanghai Resort began in November 2021. {#blank#}6{#/blank#} (所有事物) is now going well with the project. What's more, {#blank#}7{#/blank#} (在……旁边) it is a big shopping  {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (商场). And there are also some other buildings  {#blank#}9{#/blank#}(在附近). The resort will be open to the  {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (民众) in 2025. There will be a lot of fun for many families with kids, so it is expected to become a new tourist attraction (旅游景点).

Teacher Tyler Henderson is color blind, and the world in his eyes is only black and white. When he directed a musical at school, his students discovered his1 . They wanted to do something to help him see the 2 world. These student actors began to 3 money. With the donated money from their classmates, they bought a pair of Enchroma glasses, which allow color blind people to see red color. The students believed the 4 would be a surprise to their respected teacher. 

The day finally came. Standing on the stage, Mr. Henderson was going to give instructions. Suddenly, the students broke out into a song from the musical and presented their teacher with a banner(横幅) "You helped us see our colors. Now we're helping you see5 " Then the Enchroma glasses were6 to Henderson with a touching letter. 

All the students in the theatre were holding their breath and eagerly watching Mr. Henderson as he7 put on his new pair of glasses. One of the students couldn't wait to ask 8 the glasses helped. "They9 very well. " Henderson answered in amazement. As he had never expected to receive such a gift, he was speechless. He sat down on the stage with tears of10 in his eyes. 

Hours after he received the gift, Henderson was still emotional. " I had trouble 11 them on because my eyes were filled with tears " Henderson said. 

The students know that the ability to see colors is12 important for Henderson. " He has devoted （投身于）himself 13 theater, but he hasn't been able to see the red color on stage, " student Ariana Brown said. " And now he will lead a 14 life. "

" The new glasses not only color my world, but also light up my life. " said Henderson. The15 in the glasses will inspire him to express his gratitude on his life stage. 

If you didn't know my father well, you might think that he was a serious man. But he wasn't. He was actually a wildly funny person What made him appear so serious was the fact that he never smiled with his mouth. He did it all with his eyes. And you could see a tiny golden light dancing in the middle of each eye.

My father was not what you would call an educated man and I doubt if he had read twenty books in his life. But he was a talented story-teller. He used to make up a bedtime story for me every single night, and the best ones were turned into serials(续集).

One of them was about an enormous man called BiGi. He was three times as tall as an ordinary man and his hands looked like bike wheels.

"BiGi lives in an underground cave and has a factory where he makes magic powder (粉末) that out of the dreams that children make when they are asleep," my father's stories continued. "he then carries the powder and blows it through a child's window and the powder floats around the room…and the child breathes it in…"

"And then what?" I asked.

"And then. Danny. the child begins to have a fantastic dream and when the dream reaches its most fantastic moment.. then the magic powder really takes over….and suddenly the dream is not a dream any longer but a real happening" 

Once I fell asleep as my father had hoped. he would kiss me good night and turned down the lamp. I could feel the love in his smiling eyes as I started my dream.
