It is pleasant to eat eggs, but how much do you know about them? Both the white and the yolk are delicious. They contain about the same amount of protein, too. Egg whites are more popular because each one contains just 15 calories. While egg yolks contain around 55 calories.

It takes a hen between 24 to 26 hours to lay one egg. The Araucana chicken can lay eggs that can be blue or light green. And you can predict the color of an egg based on the color of the chicken's cars.

Now that you have learned more about some facts, let's dig up some Number one: brown eggs are healthier than white eggs. The truth is, both are equally good. Number two: eating eggs is bad for your heart because they contain cholesterol, a chemical that can do harm to hearts. But a long-running study found no connection between eating eggs and heart attacks. Number three: an egg that floats in water is bad.In reality, just means that the egg is old. A bad smell or a white or strangely-colored yolk shows a bad egg.
