My Plan for the Weekend

What may come to your mind first when you think of London? Is it the Big Ben or the Tower Bridge? How {#blank#}1{#/blank#} the London Eye? The London Bye has become a place of interest in London {#blank#}2{#/blank#} it was open in 2000. It is a {#blank#}3{#/blank#} of the modern Britain, and it is called London's Eiffel Tower.

At first, it was built to celebrate the new year. So people thought it would only be open during the year 2000, or perhaps just for a few years more. Nobody {#blank#}4{#/blank#} it to be so successful.

Today it is one of the UK's most popular places and is visited {#blank#}5{#/blank#} over 3.5 million people a year. The wheel has 32 boxes and each can carry about 25 people. Visitors can see the whole London from the top.

Sanya, a city in Hainan province, is a popular destination (目的地) for tourists looking for sun, sand, and sea. G{#blank#}1{#/blank#} to Sanya is easy, with different ways of transportation (交通方式).

For those coming from the main land in China, the fastest and easiest way to reach Sanya is {#blank#}2{#/blank#} plane. There are direct flights to Sanya Phoenix International Airport from most of the big c{#blank#}3{#/blank#}, such as Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou. Once you arrive at the airport, you can take {#blank#}4{#/blank#} taxi or bus to your hotel.

If you are traveling nearby, taking a train is another good c{#blank#}5{#/blank#}. Sanya has a railway s{#blank#}6{#/blank#}. This station connects Sanya with o{#blank#}7{#/blank#} cities in Hainan.

For the people who like to d{#blank#}8{#/blank#}, Hainan has a well-connected road network, and you can take a car to go around Sanya. However, keep in mind {#blank#}9{#/blank#} heavy the traffic can be during tourist seasons.

All in all, Sanya is a wonderful holiday destination for families and f{#blank#}10{#/blank#}. Make a plan and go for it!

Friends are important to everyone. {#blank#}1{#/blank#}, some people may have trouble in keeping their friendships. Here are some ways to make your friendship {#blank#}2{#/blank#}（deep）and stronger than before.

★Be yourself. A lot of teens try {#blank#}3{#/blank#}（keep）the friendship once they become friends with some people. Your identity (身份) is always changing, but some of your personality will stay {#blank#}4{#/blank#} same. Find out what those things are, think hard about who you want to be, and then show your love {#blank#}5{#/blank#}（true）to the people around you.

★Avoid gossip (闲话). Friends shouldn't speak ill (说坏话) of other friends. If you've heard something bad about your friends, you should find a right way of {#blank#}6{#/blank#}（ask）them about it by {#blank#}7{#/blank#}（you）. If you're not sure how to talk to them about it, ask a trusted friend for advice.

★Protect your friends. Very often, somebody doubts (怀疑) one of your friends. It's important to find out both {#blank#}8{#/blank#}（side）of the story, but it's also a good chance to show your friend that you trust him by telling him.

★Return the care. A good friend {#blank#}9{#/blank#}（lend）you a shoulder to cry on, if you need. A good friend will cheer you up when you're in trouble and listen patiently when you share a problem {#blank#}10{#/blank#} him or her. So, be sure you are as helpful as your friend because he will take notice and feel good.

Hello, I am Jason from Shenyang. Everyone's weekend is different. Now let me tell you{#blank#}1{#/blank#} my weekend. 

I'm always busy on Saturday. I spend two hours learning to play {#blank#}2{#/blank#} piano in the morning,In the afternoon, I often spend one and a half{#blank#}3{#/blank#}(hour) playing badminton. At 4:20 p. m. , I have a math lesson. Math is difficult and boring, but it is {#blank#}4{#/blank#}(help). 

On Sunday morning, I{#blank#}5{#/blank#}(usual) do my homework. If there is time after finishing my homework, I often play computer games. At 2:00 p. m. , I have an English lesson. English is much more {#blank#}6{#/blank#}(interest) than math and it is important to me {#blank#}7{#/blank#}I want to study abroad (在国外) in the future. 

I don't like this kind of weekend because there are many {#blank#}8{#/blank#}(class). I like these lessons, but I don't have much time {#blank#}9{#/blank#}(enjoy) my hobbies, such as writing and listening to music.
