Hello, everyone. My {#blank#}1{#/blank#} ( one) name is Peter, and my last name is Smith. I am 12. Four people are in my family. I don't have a sister. I only have a  {#blank#}2{#/blank#}. His name is Bill Smith. Our parents are nice and we like  {#blank#}3{#/blank#}( they). Bill and I are in the same(相同的) school, {#blank#}4{#/blank#} we are in different (不同的) {#blank#}5{#/blank#}( class). I am in Class 7. He is in Class 6. I like books. I read them {#blank#}6{#/blank#} the evening. I have a collection(收集) of books. It's great! I have 16 books. Seven C {#blank#}7{#/blank#} books and nine English books{#blank#}8{#/blank#}( be) in the box under my bed. Bill doesn't like books. He likes computer games, {#blank#}9{#/blank#} he likes playing them on {#blank#}10{#/blank#} computer every evening.

I can't forget that day. It was a cold snowy morning after the winter vacation. I got up early and went to a new school. It is the most famous one{#blank#}1{#/blank#}(在....之中) middle schools in New York. I was walking alone slowly and worried about lots of things because it was the first time for me to stay{#blank#}2{#/blank#}(在国外). It was early, so it was{#blank#}3{#/blank#} (寂静的) outside. 

Suddenly a girl who was riding her bike got into trouble. She fell off the bike and tried hard to get up but she{#blank#}4{#/blank#}(未能达到). Without thinking, I went over and helped her. She said "thank you" with a smile and then rode away. Her words warmed me a lot. 

Finally, I got to school. The teacher introduced me to the{#blank#}5{#/blank#}(全部的) class. Then he asked me to sit down beside a girl. I felt so nervous that I didn't look at her. Soon the bell

{#blank#}6{#/blank#}(响铃). Their{#blank#}7{#/blank#}(课本) were different from those at my old school. While I was{#blank#}8{#/blank#}(考虑) asking the teacher for help, an English book appeared in front of me. "Let's share," the friendly girl said. To my surprise, it was the girl! Later on, we became good friends. 

I learnt: To help others is actually to help{#blank#}9{#/blank#}(我们自己). It makes {#blank#}10{#/blank#}(道理) of my life by not only knowledge but also experience. 

This morning I got an email from Roy. It seems that my boy really enjoys his new life at Harvard University. The 1  made me think of the first day when we moved into this house.

Hangzhou，the capital city of Zhejiang Province，is thought to be {#blank#}1{#/blank#}（beautiful）city in the world. I always wanted to go there，and{#blank#}2{#/blank#} （luck），I got a chance this summer. My mum agreed{#blank#}3{#/blank#}（take） me there. 

We went to Hangzhou by plane. As we know，Hangzhou is famous{#blank#}4{#/blank#} the West Lake，{#blank#}5{#/blank#}we went to the West Lake on the first day. It was fantastic! People living there told us that the West Lake was more beautiful on{#blank#}6{#/blank#}（rain）days. But we weren't sure about that. So if you are in Hangzhou，you can enjoy the beautiful sights for{#blank#}7{#/blank#}（you）. 

As one of China's six ancient capital{#blank#}8{#/blank#}（city），Hangzhou has a history of more than 2，000 years. It is also home to silk and its silk products are well﹣known all over the world. So the next day we went to the old streets and{#blank#}9{#/blank#}（buy） different silk products for our family and friends. We really had {#blank#}10{#/blank#}good time there. I hope to visit 

Hangzhou again. 

 Once there was an apple flower. Anyone who saw it1 its beauty, so it became proud. It believed that it was the most beautiful flower in the world. 

 One day, it noticed a little yellow flower that seemed to grow everywhere. "What's your2 ?" the apple flower asked. 

"I'm called the dandelion(蒲公英). "

"Poor plant!" said the apple flower. "You are here and there, but no one admires you. You must feel sad to be so 3 . "

 Before the dandelion replied, a sunbeam(阳光) came and said, "All plants are beautiful to me. " He hugged both the apple flower and the dandelion. 

 Then several 4 came. They picked some dandelions happily and blew the dandelion clock(茸毛头) to make wishes, just like 5 birthday candles. 

"Can you see the beauty of dandelions?" the sunbeam asked the apple flower. 

"They are6 only to children, " said the proud apple flower. 

 Later, an old woman came. She dug the roots of the dandelions to 7 tea for the sick. 

"You see? Dandelions are also beautiful to the woman, right?" the sunbeam said. "Everything has its beauty, but not everyone 8 it. "
