A talk with

Which is the most special hotel you have ever been to? There is a very different hotel in Mississippi, the US. It can give guests （客人） a different experience. 

In October, 2018, the hotel Home 2 Suites started a program. They bring dogs from an animal shelter（收容所）to hang out in the hotel. The guests can take these dogs to their hotel rooms during their stay. By doing so, it is more likely（可能） for the dogs to find a new home. At the same time, it can leave more space for other animals at the shelter. During their stay at the hotel, the guests can keep the dogs overnight, feed them and take them for a walk. If the guests want to take the dog home, they just have to pay $50.

So far, the guests have successfully taken over 60 dogs home. "It's wonderful to find new homes for all these animals. Though it is not an easy job, we'll continue doing what we're doing. "

The manager of the hotel said.

①Is there anybody who likes doing housework? Should children do housework at home? For some children, doing housework may be the last thing they want to do. For many parents, getting their children to help with some of the housework is also one big headache. However, a Malaysian mother found a creative way. 

②Nurafiza came up with a reward system(奖励制度) for her two sons at home and posted it online. She made a list of housework and gave them money for every task they had completed. The list of housework included cleaning up the house and putting away their toys for RM50 each, studying for RM150, and even not fighting with each other for RM10 to RM15. Nurafiza also opened a" mini market" at home for her kids. Her sons could buy snacks at her mini market which was open from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm. The money she gave to her kids was a kind of prop(道具), which she had bought online. 

③Because of this system, Nurafiza's children are now more willing to do their housework. Her post has got over 15, 000 likes and has been shared over 27, 000 times online. Many parents have begun to imitate her. In other words, they use the same way to teach their children. 

④In fact, doing housework can play a very important role in children's development. First, doing housework teaches children basic skills for living, like cooking, cleaning and so on. Second, doing housework is a good way to help children keep healthy. Third, doing housework creates chances for parents and children to be closer. Finally, a child can grow into a responsible(有责任感的) and independent person by helping with the housework. 

One day, Mr Smith takes an apple to the class. He stands in the front of the 1 and says,"Please smell the smell (闻气味) in the air!"

One student puts up his hand and answers, "I can smell it. It is the smell of a(n) 2 ."

Mr Smith asks, "Are you 3 about it?"

"Yes, I am sure about it," the student says.

Mr Smith walks to the students, passes by each of 4 and says, "Please smell again to see if (是否) the smell of the apple is still (仍然) in the air."

Some of the students may have thought that the apple is not real, but they don't 9 any confidence (自信) to speak up. They just follow (跟随) others and go along with the 10 student.
