Hello! I am Dan. This is my family. My mother is tall. She is a teacher. She is beautiful. She has long hair. My father is a driver. He is tall and strong. He likes playing football. My grandmother is a farmer. She is very friendly. She can cook. My grandfather is a farmer, too. He can make a salad. I am a pupil. I have no job.

In 1992, Jemison was the first Black woman astronaut to travel into space. Kid Reporter Belen spoke with Jemison about her life and the book she wrote. 

What's it like being in space?

One {#blank#}1{#/blank#} thing about space is being able to go around the Earth every 90 minutes and see this amazing planet that way. And I did a lot of work in space. 
       What's the most fun thing about being in space?

Being able to float. It's such a silly feeling!

What's your book about?

The book is about how to lead your life into the right way and become the person you want to be. Life is not about a job. It's not even what you study. Life is not just sweet, it's not just {#blank#}2{#/blank#}, either. It's the thing you want to do,the kind of person you want to be inside. For me, that was always about exploration, creativity, challenges, and making a {#blank#}3{#/blank#} in the world.

A growing number of Chinese Internet users like Wang has found the joy of online shopping. Most online shoppers are students or young workers. More women shop online than men. Clothing and home-use products are the most popular online.

It was reported that more than 540 billion yuan was spent on online shopping last year, 70% through Taobao.

Taobao means "looking for treasure "in Chinese. People can find almost everything they need on Taobao, from clothes to books, from candies to mobile phones.

You may question the security of online shopping. Wang Lin said, "It's very safe and convenient. Unless you receive the products from the sellers and are satisfied with them, the shop owner will not get the payment. You can also get your money back if you want to return the products."

One day, Allan and his friend Henry went swimming in a river. It was very hot. How happy they were in the river! After they got out of the water, they played games in the sun for a while.

On their way back, Henry saw some flowers. He liked flowers very much and ran into the green field to look at them. Now Allan was walking by himself.

Then he heard Henry calling out, "A snake! Help!...."

"What's wrong with you?" asked Allan.

"A snake bit（咬） me in the leg. Come here!"

Allan ran over and saw a small red wound on Henry's leg.

"The snake was in the grass. I didn't see it."

"Sit down quickly!" Allan told Henry.

Allan put his mouth at the little red wound and began to suck at it. In this way he saved Henry's life. "Oh, Allan, it's very kind of you to help me."

"That's all right. We are friends and we must always help each other."

Jack的村庄

My name is Jack. I'm ten years old and I live in a small village. There's a small park behind my house. I often go there with my dog Bonny. Bonny enjoys going there very much. She loves running and catching a ball.

There is a school in front of my village. There are 6 classes in the school and each class has 20 students. Next to the school, there is a big playground. My friends and I often play basketball on the playground after school.

I enjoy going to the city on Saturdays, too. I always go shopping with my mum. We go to the big supermarket between the sports centre and the library. We buy our food for a week there. After shopping I sometimes go to the library to get a good book to read.

On my birthday, I'm happy. I always get nice gifts.

In the morning, there's a birthday cake. My parents say "Happy birthday" to me.

At lunch, my mom makes noodles.

In the afternoon, my friends come. They bring a toy airplane, a birthday card and a book.
