冀教版(2024)七年级上册Unit 3 All about me学情评估
Hello, my name is Li Lin. You can call me Jack. I'm a 14yearold schoolboy. Now, I am studying at a school in the UK. Let me tell you about the fun things I do in this country.
I like riding my bike in the UK. I can get anywhere on my bike in Cambridge. It's really fun. But riding a bike in the UK is different from that in China.
First, you have to ride on the left of the road. In China, you ride on the right. When I go to the UK for the first time, I ride on the right of the road. Cars run fast by me. It is terrible(可怕的).
Second, the UK bikes have lights on them. They have a white light at the front and a red one at the back. You can use them at night and early in the morning.
Third, in China, bikes usually have a stand (支架). But you can't find them on most of the UK bikes. Why? You can't leave your bike where you want. You have to put it in a bike park. It's a good idea.

At the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou, people cheered when China's Tong Xin finished her taijijian moves. On Sept 24, she won the women's raijiquan and taijijian all-round gold. The Asian Games have more events than the Olympic Games. These events, like raijijian, are from different countries and cultures across Asia. This makes the Asian Games interesting. Here are some of the special sports.

Wushu Chinese wushu first came about in the Shang and Zhou dynasties (16th century-256 BC). It is an important part of Chinese culture. Modern wushu has two parts: taolu and sanda. Tong's slow but strong actions with her sword(剑) showed perfectly Chinese wushu's beautiful mix of soft and hard moves. Wushu was first included in the Asian Games in 1990. |
Kabaddi(卡巴迪) Kabaddiis a folk sport from India. It has a history of more than 4,000 years. The sport looks like the game "eagle catching chickens". You only need a place to play it, nothing else. The place should be 13 meters long and 10 meters wide. |
Sepak takraw(藤球) Sepak takraw first became popular in Southeast Asia. It is like the traditional Chinese game of shuttlecock kicking(踢毽子). Players need to use their feet, head, knees and chest(胸) to move the ball. It is also called "kick volleyball". |
