Great writers have one thing in common—they read a lot. Here is some advice.
Develop the reading habit. You can write down your goal (目标), for example, read for 30 minutes every day, and put it up somewhere you can see it.
Take your book with you. When you go on the road, always take your book. But at the tenth time, you'll be glad you brought the book.
Read books of great writers. "Great writers" don't only mean writers like Shakespeare. People who can create great characters, reach into your heart and open up new worlds for you are all great writers for you.
Reading is more than just learning. It's about joy. If a book makes you bored, put it down and do something you enjoy more.
A. Enjoy your reading. B. How can you become a good reader? C. Have you decided which book to write about yet? D. You might not need it for nine trips. E. Do this for some time and you'll have the reading habit. |
