Last month, I went to Australia and had great fun there. My first stop was Sydney. I visited the Sydney Opera House first, then the Bondi Beach. On the beach, I saw many people lying （躺）in the sun. I never saw this in my country. It was very interesting. 

The next morning, I went to Fraser Island. The island is about 122 km long. It has beautiful lakes and beaches. I joined a Fraser Island camp with some friends. We drove a car around the island. We swam and enjoyed a barbecue （烧烤） on the beach together. We had a wonderful time. 

However, there were also many problems, One was that I couldn't speak English well. I wanted to talk with people there and make friends with them. But I didn't know what they said. Because of this, I often lost my way, too. Luckily, people there were so kind to give help. 

From the trip I feel that the world is small. I come to know that I have to study English very hard. 

If you ask people of different countries" Could you tell me the way to the post office?", you will get 1 answers. 

 In Japan, people 2 landmarks(路标) instead of street names. For example, the Japanese will say to 3 , " Go straight down to the corner, 4 left at the big hotel and go past a fruit market. The post office is across from the bus stop. "

 In Kansas, America, there are no 5 or buildings within(在…之内) miles. So instead of landmarks, people will tell you 6 and distance(距离). 7 , people will say, " Go north two miles(英里). Turn 8 , and then go another mile. "

 People in Greece sometimes do not even try to give directions because few visitors 9 the Greek language. They will often say, "10 me. " Then he or she will take you through the streets of the city to the post office. Sometimes 11 a person doesn't know the answer to your question he or she, like a New Yorker, might say, " Sorry, I have no 12 . " But in Yucatan, Mexico, no one13 "I don't know. " People there think"I don't know" is not 14 . They usually give an answer but often a 15 one. A visitor can often get lost in Yucatan!

Camping is one of the most interesting outdoor activities. Last weekend, l had a camping trip to a hill  1 My teachers and classmates. We all enjoyed 2 Very much, Each of us brought something for the camping. Liu Tao had a box of chocolates(巧克力)and David had some  3 What did Nancy have? She had some apples, too. Helen had some fish and chicken. Mr. Green and Miss Li  4 two big tents(帐篷)and the cooking tools.

When we got to the camping place, it  5 almost l1 a. m. Our teachers tried to put up the tents first. And we students went to look for wood. Then we made a fire  6 food. We didn't  7 much choice on food, but we all thought it was delicious. After lunch, we took a rest. And then in the afternoon, we caught butterflies, looked for rare plants in the woods and went fishing by a river. In the evening, we held  8 party, singing and dancing around the campfire(篝火). At about ll p. m. , we went into the tents and slept soon 9 we were tired at that time. The radio said it would be rainy in the evening. Luckily, it didn't rain that night. The trip was  10 a wonderful experience.
