There are seven chickens at my home. I gave them all names and they are my good 1 . You may think that taking care of chickens is 2 , but sometimes chickens have minds of their own. If you show interest in keeping 3 , there are a few things you need to know.

Everything has its order. Chickens 4  have the pecking (啄食) order. The order goes from the strongest, biggest chicken to the smallest, 5  chicken. And it is the ranking (排位) of all the chickens. The chickens 6  this order on their own. Putting chickens together is not easy. You have to make sure they all eat the same food. Otherwise, you have to keep 7  apart.

You must pay more attention to baby chicks. You need to give very good 8  to them, so they can stay 9  and become immune (免疫的). You also need a 10  for them to stay in your house and a special feeder and water holder. 11  you take good care of the chicks, you can get day-old chicks. Also, you should remember to 12  the pen (鸡圈)，so neighbors don't complain (抱怨).

You just have to know what you are doing and always be prepared. Chickens can bring families 13 . They can make family members happy. They are fun and humorous, beautiful and loving. They are also smart. It's amazing how 14  they learn things on their own.

Once upon a time, there was a deer. He had large, strong antlers (鹿角). His owner protected him from being hurt by other animals as well as the {#blank#}1{#/blank#}(风) and {#blank#}2{#/blank#}(暴风雨), so he was always safe.

One day, the deer came near a river to drink. The water was like a mirror. The reflection(倒影) of his big antlers {#blank#}3{#/blank#}(闪耀 ) in the water. He was {#blank#}4{#/blank#}(兴奋 的) and {#blank#}5{#/blank#}(微笑). "I look like a(n){#blank#}6{#/blank#} (国王)," he said,"and the whole forest {#blank#}7{#/blank#}(区域)is my country."

Then he felt {#blank#}8{#/blank#}(受震惊的) when he was looking into the water."My legs are thin and my feet are small," he said."They look so {#blank#}9{#/blank#}(奇怪的). I hate them."

While the deer was complaining(抱怨), a tiger was {#blank#}10{#/blank#}(躲藏) near the river. When the deer saw him, he made his way to the trees. The tiger quickly chased after him. The deer was a fast runner and reached the trees first, but then his large antlers got stuck in some small {#blank#}11{#/blank#}(棍子). {#blank#}12{#/blank#}(突然), the tiger caught him, the deer cried out sadly.

He {#blank#}13{#/blank#} (开始) to {#blank#}14{#/blank#} (意识到) his mistake."I love my antlers, but they {#blank#}15{#/blank#}(导致) to my trouble. My legs and feet could help me run faster, but I hate them. How stupid I was! They are both important to me!"

I haven't seen my teacher Mr. Jenkins since I finished school, but I often think about him. I wasn't good at most school {#blank#}1{#/blank#}. The only thing that I could remember is where the rain comes from! However, when I was 15 and went in Mr. Jenkins' class, everything changed. 

Before I {#blank#}2{#/blank#} by Mr. Jenkins, science had simply been a subject full of strange words to me. I didn't know what CO2 was and I didn't really want to know, {#blank#}3{#/blank#}. I found it so boring and difficult, but Mr. Jenkins made everything interesting. He used to teach things {#blank#}4{#/blank#} seemed difficult with lots of examples and in simple language. One day, he even took us outside and built a rocket! I remember that he let us {#blank#}5{#/blank#} some fuel（燃料）into the rocket, and then another student lit a match to set {#blank#}6{#/blank#} off. It was great fun. 

I know that I wasn't smart, {#blank#}7{#/blank#} Mr. Jenkins made me feel that I had my own strengths. Then, I became {#blank#}8{#/blank#} active student in learning new things. I was {#blank#}9{#/blank#} in the study of the stars and planets and he asked me to give a report to the class. Now I take a job as a science teacher {#blank#}10{#/blank#} Mr. Jenkins.

When I was a little girl, one of my favorite things was a shoebox. I filled it up with pieces of paper, envelopes and posters that I had collected. I called the box my "Post Office". 1 I was free, I would take it out and pour my "letters" on the floor. I grouped the "letters" and then put them back into the box. 

This led me to 2 a new hobby — writing letters to children I had never met. It was 3 to send my written pages to people far away. And I loved this feeling. My best penfriends were Svetlana in Belarus and Alastair in central England. 

I first 4 spoke out my dream of being a songwriter to Alastair. Actually, I had never written a single song and I had no idea how to do so. But I decided to realize this dream— well, I should never let my best friends 5 . I started to discover my favorite 6 and thought about how I should write a song. 

As I grew older, I had more people to write to, for example, kids I had met on school trips. The freedom I found to 7 myself in letters is one of my greatest memories of childhood. 

On my journey into adulthood, my love for writing letters never left me. As I now create music, I always remember my childhood 8 . Releasing（发行） new songs is similar to sending out handwritten letters. My "Post Office" is where I got started.

A 5-year-old boy was praised online because of his kindness. He hasn't 1 a   haircut for three years to help children with cancer.

 In a video posted online, Guangnian showed 2 more than 30-centimeter- long hair. Two years ago, he saw 3 movie about cancer children. He noticed that girls' hair totally lost after the treatment. He decided 4 his hair long and donated(捐献) it to children who lost their hair because of cancer treatment. No one took his words seriously at that time 5 he was only a 3-year-old kid. They did not 6 that he would stick to it all the way.

 He said"On my first day of school,I 7 for a girl by others. I told them I was a boy, but they still called me a girl, this made me 8 ." Though other kids laughed at him, he never thought of giving up. Even when his mother tried several9 to ask him to cut his hair. He said he wanted to help others through this way.10 brave little boy he is!
