Telling the truth is a very good habit. Here is a story of a man who did lots of bad things, but his promise to tell the truth 1 him.

    One morning the man came to the prophet(先知) Muhammad and said, "Oh prophet of Allah, I have many bad 2. Which one should I 3 first?"

    The prophet said," 4 telling lies first and always tell the truth." The man promised to do so.

    He went home and thought about the prophet's 5all day. But at night he planned to go out to steal something. Before leaving home, he said to 6, "If tomorrow the prophet asks me7 I have been, shall I say that I went out to steal? No, I can't say that. But 8 can I tell a lie. If I tell the truth, everyone will call me a thief." So the man decided 9 that night.

    Next day, when the man was about to drink10, he thought, "What shall I say to the prophet 11he asks me what I did during the day? I 12 not tell a lie, and if I tell the truth, people will hate me because a Muslim is not allowed to drink wine." So he gave up the idea of drinking wine. 13, whenever the man thought of doing something bad, he 14  remembered his promise to tell the truth. Step by step, he didn't do anything 15. He became a good Muslim and a very good person.

    Frank is a small schoolboy. His school has so many rules for 1. He doesn't like any of them because he thinks they are all 2."The school asks us not to do this 3that. I'm not happy about it," He often says.

    Frank can swim. He always wants to 4how good he is at swimming. One day he comes to the lake in his school. There is a school rule about this lake: Don't 5in it! Frank doesn't like the rule and he jumps into it.

I was traveling alone through the UK. To reach places without public transportation，I bought an old car. The car cost most of my money. I couldn't afford to stay in the hotel，so I had to camp in my car for the rest of the trip. 

One morning，I woke up in my old car and saw a single house. The water in my thermos（保温瓶） had gone cold

But she wouldn't let me get away with just that!I was invited indoors. She asked me to have breakfast with her family. They filled my thermos before I left. I was greatly moved. 

The other day I met a young man who had been driving around to look for a parking lot. He looked very upset. I was glad that I was able to point one out to him. His thankful smile was the hugest reward（报答） for me. 

A long time ago, there was a seed (种子). Because he was only a seed, 1 noticed him. The seed thought he was not important in the world.

One day, a wind 2 the seed and threw him on an open field. Later, he enjoyed the water on rainy days and the 3 on sunny days, which helped him grow. Years later, another day he saw a traveller sitting by his side.

"Who just spoke?" the shocked man asked.

"Really?"

 Emma's kind acts {#blank#}7{#/blank#}(not stop) at the bakery. She also organized community events, like picnics in the park, to bring the village's people together. People from all walks of life would go, making new friends and feeling like a true community. 

 Inspired (受启发) by her kind acts, the people in the community began to follow in her footsteps. Some started to serve meals to {#blank#}8{#/blank#}(that) in need. The children in the community, too, helped by making cards {#blank#}9{#/blank#}(bring) cheer to the old and the sick. Emma's good deeds had {#blank#}10{#/blank#}(true) set off a chain reaction (连锁反应) of love and goodwill. Over time, the village became a more caring and closer community.
