Once upon a time, the colors of the world argued.

Green said, "Clearly I am the most important. I am the sign of1and hope. I am the color of grass, trees and leaves.2me, all animals would die.”3 said loudly. "What is the color of the sky and the sea? Isn't water the most important thing for life?" Yellow laughed, "I bring laughter, happiness and warmth into the world. Every time people look at a 4, they start to smile. Without me there would be no fun." Orange said at the top of his voice, "I am the color of health and strength. Think of carrots, pumpkins and oranges. When I fill the sky at5 or sunset, everyone is6 at my beauty." Red could7 it no longer, so he shouted, "I an the color of danger and bravery. I give people courage." The colors went on8. Their voices became louder and louder. The thunder（雷）got angry and the9started to pour. When the colors began to cool, the rain said, "You foolish colors! Don't you know that each of you is special?10hands and follow me." They did what they were told and together made the most beautiful rainbow（彩虹）。

    When Amy wrote her first novel in secondary school, she never imagined that she would become a writer one day. Like many 1 writers on the Internet, the 2 woman got into this online world accidentally (偶然地).

    Several months ago , a couple with a little girl moved in next door to me. The girl seemed too quiet to make any noise, while the parents were always 1her loudly. Whenever we met my new neighbours , I always spoke, but the only 2 I ever got was a hello from the 4-year-old girl.

    I usually go out for breakfast and one day when I returned, they were just coming from their home and the little girl was holding the door open for others. I stayed in the car doing unnecessary things as I wasn't in a 3. The parents were telling her to get into the car immediately. I looked up and saw the little girl was still holding the door open, waiting for 4 .

As a disabled man, I can't hurry at 5 but I hurried as much as I could and thanked her. She was smiling like a lovely angel. I was so 6by her small act of kindness.     The next day there was a knock on the door and it was the little girl and her parents. She was so 8of her bear and thanked me as if I had never been thanked before. The mother and father9thanked me.

    Now when we meet , we all speak, and in a friendly manner I might add. As time passes, I don't hear that shouting as often.10, hardly at all.

    Last night we had about four inches of11. I looked out at my car and wondered 12 I was going to keep my doctor's appointment(约会). When I opened the outside door, there was my car with all the snow cleaned. I can't express how I felt at that moment.     In 1985 two climbers, Joe Simpson and Simon Yates, left their base camp and started climbing a mountain called Siula Grande.
