More than 60 percent of the people in China
order take-out food at least twice a week, according to a recent survey (调查报告) by China Youth Daily.
The survey was given to 2,005 people in different
c{#blank#}1{#/blank#} across the country. Among them, 55.6 percent said it's h{#blank#}2{#/blank#} to
stop buying take-out food. 63.8 percent said they hope the r{#blank#}3{#/blank#} can
improve the quality (质量) of the food, especially
the ingredients (食材).
The participants (参与者) gave many reasons for o{#blank#}4{#/blank#} take-out. Some said they are too b{#blank#}5{#/blank#}.
Others said take-out is c{#blank#}6{#/blank#} than going to a restaurant. And some people
simply don't know h{#blank#}7{#/blank#} to cook.
Some of them have realized (意识到) that eating too much take-out isn't good for their h{#blank#}8{#/blank#} and may
cause about 2, 000 t{#blank#}9{#/blank#} of waste every year. And people use about 3
billion p{#blank#}10{#/blank#} of disposable (一次性的) chopsticks
yearly. 45 percent of them are made from trees while the rest are made from
bamboo and cotton.
