    Jenny is my good friend. She is eleven years old. She comes from America. Usually she goes to school on foot, because her home is near. Jenny's mother is a teacher. She goes to work by subway, because it's fast. What about her father? Her father is a doctor. He goes to work by car. On weekends, Jenny and I often go to the park. Sometimes we have a picnic. It is very funny.

Mike: What do you usually do in the evening, Amy?

Amy: I usually do my homework and watch TV. Sometimes I play computer games.

Mike: What are you going to do this evening?

Amy: I'm going to read a comic book. What about you?

Mike: I'm going to play ping-pong.

Amy: Where are you going to play ping-pong?

Mike: At the gym.

Amy: At the gym? Where is it?

Mike: It's behind the hospital. It's new and very big.

Amy: Oh, it's far from your home. How do you get there?

Mike: Usually I get there by bike. But this evening, I'm going by taxi. It's rainy and windy.

Mum: Your schoolbag is on the chair. Is it in your schoolbag?

Tony: No, it isn't.

Mum: Is it on your desk?

Tony: No, it isn't. My pencil-box is here. But I can't see my English book.

Mum: Is it under your chair?

Tony: Yes, it is. Where are my pens, Mum?

Mum：Are they in the pencil-box?

Tony: No, they aren't. My ruler and my crayons are in the pencil-box.

Mum: Are they behind the picture?

Tony: Yes, they are. Where is my rubber, Mum?

Mum: Look! It's beside your schoolbag!

Tony: Thank you, Mum!

    Mr and Mrs White have three daughters. They are Alice, Kitty and Rose. Rose is the youngest of the three daughters. She is two years younger than Alice. Alice is thirteen. She and Kitty are twins. They are all pretty and lovely. They study in the same school. Their parents are both doctors, but they don't work in the same hospital. They love their daughters very much.

    Mr White likes music very much. He always listens to music when he drives the car. And he likes reading books, too. After dinner he helps the children with their studies, and then he goes into the study to read books. He goes to bed very late. Father's Day is coming. What presents do the children give to their father? The youngest sister wants to buy a watch for her father, but she doesn't have enough money. She buys a book as a Father's Day gift. And the twin sisters buy some CDs for their father. Mr White is very happy when he gets these presents.
