A teacher decided to let her class play a game.She told each child in the class to bring along a plastic bag with a few big potatoes.Each potato was given the name of a person that the child hated，so the number of potatoes that a child put in his or her plastic bag depended on the number of people he or she hated.

When the day came，every child brought some potatoes with the names of the people he or she hated.Some had two potatoes，some three while some had up.to five potatoes.The teacher then told the children to carry the potatoes in the plastic bag with them wherever they went.

Days after days passed，and the children started to complain（抱怨） because of the unpleasant smell let out by the rotten（腐烂的） potatoes.Besides，those having as many as five potatoes also had to carry heavier bags.After weeks，the children were very happy because the game had finally ended.

The teacher asked，"How did you feel while carrying the potatoes with you these days？"The children let out their dissatisfactions and started complaining about the trouble they had to go through having to carry the heavy and smelly potatoes wherever they went.

Then the teacher told them the hidden meaning behind the game."This is exactly the situation when you carry your hatred for somebody inside your heart.The unpleasant smell of hatred will pollute your heart and you will carry it with you wherever you go.If you cannot stand the smell of rotten potatoes for just a short period of time，can you imagine what it is like to have hatred in your heart for your lifetime？"So remember：Forgive those you hate and move on.

My English learning began in primary school. I was happy to say sentences like: "What's your name? "and to answer this question with "My name is Renato". 

I felt I was not a little boy any more because I could understand a foreign language. English was so wonderful for me. For the first time，I was able to understand my favourite English songs. How great it was!

After finishing middle school，my family couldn't pay for my study in an English school. My mother gave me some advice. "What about learning English by reading books and singing songs? "she said. Then I started reading books in English and using songs as a way of learning English. 

Three years later，I found a job and sometimes I talked to some foreign people. One day，I lost my job unluckily. I decided to go back to school to learn English. 

Now，I still love English. I use TV，music and the Internet to learn English. These things help me to improve both my listening and speaking. I hope I will have more chances to use this language in the future. I also hope more people can love it. 

A doctor, a lawyer（律师）, a little boy and an old man were out for a Sunday afternoon flight on a small plane. Suddenly, the plane had engine（发动机） trouble. At last, the pilot took a parachute（降落伞） and shouted to the four people that they had better jump, and then he himself jumped out. Unluckily, there were only three parachutes left.

"It took several tries to finally create the lion's head.At first,the two layers of eyelashes(睫毛)were {#blank#}3{#/blank#}same size,but I later made the second layer smaller and {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (thin)to make it stand out."

Wu's passion for dough sculptures started more than a decade ago.At  first,he found it {#blank#}5{#/blank#}(difficulty)to make dough sculptures because of no basic training in art.To solve this,Wu observed people carefully and also looked for many art books. By improving {#blank#}6{#/blank#}(he)own art education,the pastry Wu made slowly became more lifelike.

Pastry lovers nationwide have learned to make such pieces from Wu,who {#blank#}7{#/blank#}(teach)more than h000 students.He likes to share his techniques and {#blank#}8{#/blank#}n ought)about puff pastries,and he is happy to see students introducing his creations at competitions.

"I used to focus on the techniques, {#blank#}9{#/blank#} now I think more about ways to combine traditional Chinese culture with  puff pastries,"Wu told China Daily,adding that it is good to see more young people becoming {#blank#}10{#/blank#}(interest)in Chinese pastries.

 In Greece, my friend's mother keeps giving me more coffee after I shake(摇) my head so many times! Why? Because shaking your head means yes and nodding(点头) means no. But in America, it's different!

In India, people just use their hands to have meals. But in many other countries, people use different things to get the food into their mouths.

 In Korea, I don't see people look at me in the eye. Later, I find that it's not polite to do this in Korea because it makes Koreans feel bad.
