In the face of floods(洪水) in Zhuozhou city, Hebei Province, volunteer Zhao Zhansheng became popular. His act of offering free {#blank#}1{#/blank#} to people suffered(遭受) from flood(洪水) and rescuers(救援者) touched lots of people. 

Zhao is a(n) {#blank#}2{#/blank#} of the Shenying rescue team in Henan Province. Zhao has {#blank#}3{#/blank#} voluntary work for about 20 years. On August 2, 2023, he and {#blank#}4{#/blank#} friends arrived in Zhuozhou to offer help. 

In a video posted online, Zhao prepared huimian(烩面), traditional Henan noodles, right on the streets. He {#blank#}5{#/blank#} local people and rescuers passing by to have a meal. "Please let the kids who haven't had breakfast this morning {#blank#}6{#/blank#} first, then the rescuers and other friends. Don't worry. We have plenty of food. Anyone who comes here can have a bowl of hot noodles today," Zhao shouted to the people around. " {#blank#}7{#/blank#} they lost many things, many locals joined me in preparing the meals. I'm {#blank#}8{#/blank#} for their support as well," Zhao added. 

The video touched {#blank#}9{#/blank#} of people's hearts. It received over 770,000 likes. One person said, "We Chinese pull together in the face of difficulties." Another said, "All people working in the front line are heroes. I wish all of you can return home {#blank#}10{#/blank#} ."

Zhi Xuanzi was the head of Zhi, a big family of Jin State during the Spring and Autumn Period. He wanted Zhi Yao {#blank#}1{#/blank#}（be）the family head after him.

{#blank#}2{#/blank#}, another man in the family disliked the idea. He listed five good things of Zhi Yao. For {#blank#}3{#/blank#}, he was good at riding and shooting. But Zhi Yao had a big problem: his virtue（品德）. He had {#blank#}4{#/blank#} unkind heart.

Zhi Xuanzi didn't listen {#blank#}5{#/blank#} the idea. And still, Zhi Yao {#blank#}6{#/blank#}（become）the head of the family. He {#blank#}7{#/blank#}（quick）made the Zhi family develop. Soon it was much {#blank#}8{#/blank#}（strong）, than before. But because of his aggressive style, three other {#blank#}9{#/blank#}（family）worked together to fight against the Zhi family. Finally, Zhi family lost the fight.

Sims Guang used this story to tell us that having talent is not enough. {#blank#}10{#/blank#} talent and virtue are important. Excellent people must also have virtue.

Yang Weiyun, over 70 years old, is teaching pinyin on TikTok. She also 1 reading and writing. Mrs Yang used to be a Chinese teacher at a primary school for about 30 years and a kindergarten (幼儿园) head for 2 20 years. 

After retiring (退休), Mrs Yang wanted to do 3 meaningful. Then she got the  4 of using the Internet to give lessons. Soon she 5 teaching pinyin on TikTok. At first, her classes were for kindergarten kids who will go to 6 schools next year. However, she 7 found there were more and more adults (成年人) in her" class". And most of them weren't8 to read or write.
