Known as "paper paintings" and "painted pictures", New Year paintings are also a {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (specially) art form in Chinese folk culture.     Yangliuqing woodblock New Year paintings,{#blank#}8{#/blank#}ancient town in Tianjin, have a history of over 400 years. They show the characteristics(特征) of both wood {#blank#}9{#/blank#} (cut)  and Chinese painting. They are about {#blank#}10{#/blank#}(day) life and old stories. In the 2010 World Expo, Yangliuqing woodblock New Year paintings were shown to the whole world.

In a busy international business (商务) meeting, a group of businessmen from different countries came together to discuss possible working partnership. Among them were Sarah, an American manager, and Li, a Chinese businessman. They had difficulty 1 each other.

I am Frank. I am 13 years old. I have a good friend. His name is John and he is 14 years old. We were born( 出 生 ) in Jinhua. Now I live in Hangzhou. John still lives in our hometown(家乡). We live far away from each other, but we're still very good friends.

 We call each other very often and talk about our school life and studies. John is good at maths and science. But I am bad at maths. He always helps me with it. Also, he likes music and art. When he is free, he likes singing and drawing.
