Social media, like WeChat and Douyin, is a big part of most people's lives. Recent research found social media users between 10 and 15 years old can be divided into four personality types: geek (极客), Internet celebrity(网红), lurker(潜伏者) and victim (受害者). Each personality type has both good and bad sides. Which one do you fall into?
●Geeks
(A) Geeks are active social media users who care about their privacy(隐私). Most geeks are boys who like gaming and making music and videos. They often post creative works online. Mark Zuckerberg, who created Facebook, is comfortable in (B) his online life, but finds life in the real world to be much more difficult to deal with. This can remind" geeks" to try to avoid depending too much on the Internet.
●Internet celebrities
Internet celebrities like sharing as well, but they are much more visible (可见的) than geeks. They might become well-known for their singing or dancing. But being a teenage Internet celebrity can sometimes cause problems in the real world. They might spend less time studying and more time online.
●Lurkers
Most teenagers probably fall into the third type —" lurkers", or people who are neither too active nor visible. They prefer to "like" and share links(链接), rather than create their own things online. The problem for these teenagers is that they may find it difficult to express themselves. But at least they make sure to protect their privacy.
●Victims
Victims usually have less knowledge to keep themselves safe online. Their personal information can be made public and cause problems for them. (C) To avoid being a victim. Do not share your private information online, like birthday, age, where you live or your vacation plans.
Four ways to have a good school life
Your schooldays should be some of the best and happiest days of your life. How can you get the most from them and be sure you do not waste(浪费) this great chance to learn?
Be active (积极的) at school
Don't say things are difficult or boring. Take interest in school life and your school subjects. Join lots of activities. Put up your hands quickly in class. Go around the school with a big smile. If you are not working, you are wasting your time at school. Teachers cannot make everything enjoyable (令人愉快的).
Keep fit
If you do not eat a good breakfast, you will be thinking about food in class. If you go to bed late and do not have enough sleep, you will be sleepy in class. Play enough sports every day in order to keep your body strong.
Face the problem
Do not say you will do things tomorrow. If you get behind the class, it is very difficult to get back in front. You cannot finish the race if you rest all the time. Everyone fails some exams, loses some matches and has bad days. Don't make small problems seem very big and important. Don't forget to ask for help. You are young and no one thinks you must do everything quite well!
Spend the weekends
Don't waste time lying in bed on Saturday or Sunday morning. Go and play a sport, get together with friends in the park to relax, or learn to play the piano. If you don't want to go out, there are also a lot of things to do. You may read a book, practice English or help parents with housework. Follow our advice, and have a happy school life!

Make a timetable!
Do you have problems after starting junior high? You may have more subjects to learn and less(更少的) time for sleep. But some classmates adapt(适应) quickly to their new school life. Nick makes a timetable. It shows his daily life from 6:30 am to 10:00 pm. It helps him arrange(安排) his school days well.
So how can a timetable help students? First, it can help them live a healthy life. Some students have no time for a good breakfast or some exercise. With a timetable, they can do them well. Second,a timetable can help them do more things in one day. It sets(设置) time for differ- ent things, so they know what to do at different times.
You may find it difficult to keep a timetable. But when you do the same activities every day, they finally become your habit(习惯).
