After traveling through space for seven months, China's Tianwen-1 probe has reached Mars and (success) entered its orbit on Wednesday — bringing it one step  (close) to landing on the surface.

Tianwen-1, name means "Quest for Heavenly Truth", consists of an orbiter, lander and a six-wheeled rover. The spacecraft  (launch) last July along with two other international Mars missions, is scheduled to land on the planet's surface in May or June. It is tasked with gathering information about Mars' geological structure, atmosphere, environment and soil, as well as  (search) for signs of water.

With Tianwen-1, China is the first nation  (attempt) to send both an orbiter and a rover on its first homegrown Mars mission.  contrast, NASA sent multiple orbiters to Mars before ever attempting a landing, since pulling off the landing is far more difficult task.

The Chinese rover (expect) to function for about three months on the planet. It marks a milestone for China's deep-space  (explore) of Mars, according to the CNSA. China is also planning to launch a permanent space station by 2022, and is looking at sending astronauts to the moon-possibly in the 2030s.

语法填空。

I was never very neat, while my roommate Mary was extremely organized. Each of her {#blank#}1{#/blank#}(object)had its place, but mine always hid somewhere. She even labeled (贴标签)everything. I always looked for everything. She would push my dirty clothing over and I would lay my books on her tidy desk. We both got tired of each other. Finally, a war broke out one evening. Mary warned me against {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (put) my shoes under her bed. Suddenly, I saw my shoes flying at me. I jumped to my feet and started yelling. She yelled back louder.

The room was filled {#blank#}3{#/blank#} anger. We could not have stayed together for {#blank#}4{#/blank#} single minute but for a phone call. Mary answered {#blank#}5{#/blank#}. From her end of the conversation,I could tell right away her grandma was seriously ill. When she hung up, she quickly crawled (爬)under her covers, sobbing. {#blank#}6{#/blank#} (obvious), that was something she should not go through alone.

I realized that I should do something {#blank#}7{#/blank#} (show) my concern. Slowly, I collected the pencils, took back the books, made my bed, cleaned the socks and swept the floor, even on her side. I got so into my work that I even didn't notice Mary was watching .She {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (reach) out her hands to grasp mine. I looked up into {#blank#}9{#/blank#}(she)eyes. She smiled at me, “Thanks.”

Mary and I stayed roommates for the rest of the year. We didn't always agree, {#blank#}10{#/blank#} we learned the key to living together: giving in, cleaning up and holding on.
