Although English people don't care about what they eat, they care about the places{#blank#}1{#/blank#}   they eat. Rich families usually have a nice dining room.
   English people like to eat out. The rich go to big {#blank#}2{#/blank#}  . The poor go to small ones or fast-food restaurants. There are also a lot of {#blank#}3{#/blank#} restaurants, such as Italian, Chinese, Indian,{#blank#}4{#/blank#} and so on. A good restaurant is usually big and clean. Small restaurants or fast-food restaurants are noisier but clean and pleasant, too.
   In summer, English people like eating{#blank#}8{#/blank#} . People bring baskets of sandwiches and sit on the {#blank#}9{#/blank#}  in the park, enjoying the sun. Some English kids' favorite food is pizza, and most kids hate vegetables. Some of them like{#blank#}10{#/blank#} the most famous English food, fish and chips.

    There are two terms in a school year in England. The first is from September to January, {#blank#}1{#/blank#} the second is from February to June. The children usually begin to go to school at the age of five. Most students are seventeen {#blank#}2{#/blank#} eighteen when they finish high school. They usually have the same class every day, {#blank#}3{#/blank#} they have little homework. After class they do many interesting things. After high school, many students go to college. They usually have to pay a lot of money, {#blank#}4{#/blank#} many college students work after class to get the money for their studies.

    The Dragon Boat Festival, also called the Duanwu Festival, is celebrated on the fifth day of the fifth month in Chinese calendar. People often eat zongzi and row dragon boats {#blank#}1{#/blank#} the festival.

    Thousands of years ago, people began to throw rice into the Miluo River to feed Qu Yuan on May 5th every year, because he died in the Miluo River. They {#blank#}2{#/blank#} he was still alive in the river. Now, in order to remember the honest man, people in China often make zongzi. This kind of food is very delicious and very {#blank#}3{#/blank#} Men and women, young and old all like eating zongzi very much.

    The festival is {#blank#}4{#/blank#} best known for its dragon boat races. During the festival, people often race dragon boats in many places, especially in the south of China where there are many rivers and lakes. The dragon boat is about 50-100 feet long, 5 feet wide. There are more than 20 strong {#blank#}5{#/blank#} on the boat. They sit in the boat side by side. At the head of the boat, there is a big drum on it. The drummer plays the drum during the race.
