Thirteen years ago, my sister, a very beautiful girl, was born. _1_, we were later told that this little girl, who was three and a half months premature（早产的）, would only have 14 days on the earth. It's hard to understand what kind of 2you have when you find out that you're losing something that you don't even know.

    As time went on, the number of days kept growing, which gave us hope. When the doctors said that we could take her home, that was when reality（现实）hit. We had no 3_.

    I am from a small town with small hospitals, but when you don't have money, you just don't have it. My mother tried for days to get the money, but nothing _4 each time. A caseworker was doing her best. It's5that it almost felt as if we had to 6a baby from the hospital.

    One day the caseworker walked into her boss's office to try again. As she walked out. Feeling 7again, out of nowhere a man walked up to her. He 8her a bag of money and said, “Please give this to the lady in need, so she can take her daughter home.” She looked 9_at her hand with tears in her eyes. As she looked up to thank him, he was gone. They searched all over that hospital and he was nowhere to be found.

    Thanks to the guy that I will 10_ know, we could take that beautiful baby girl home, and celebrate her 13^th birthday yesterday. I am thankful to this man and feel that his act of kindness should be shared with everyone.

In most parts of the world, many students help their schools make less pollution.  They join the Environment Club.  In the club, people work together to protect the environment. 

No-rubbish lunches.  How much do you throw after lunch? The Environment Club asks students to bring their lunches in bags that can be recycled.  The students try their best to make less rubbish. 

No-car days.  No-car days were started by 35 cities in France on 22nd September, 1998.  They were started to protect the environment.  By now, more than 1,000 cities around the world have had a no-car day.  In China, more and more people are taking part in the activity.  On a no-car day, nobody comes to school in a car—not the students and not the teachers! Cars give pollution to our air, so remember: Walk, jump, bike or run! Use your legs! It's lots of fun!

Turn off water! Do you know that some broken toilets could waste 20 to 40 ml of water an hour? In a year, that will fill a small river! In the Environment Club, the members mend those broken toilets. 

We have only one Earth.  Let's work hard together to make our world cleaner and more beautiful. 

Many families have a pet. Most pets will feel {#blank#}1{#/blank#} when their owners (主人) go to school or work. But some pet cats in South Korea are much luckier. They can go to kindergarten.

 My friend Tina is busy with work in the daytime, before she {#blank#}2{#/blank#} home in the morning, she will say to her pet cat, "Play with {#blank#}3{#/blank#} ! Have a good day!"{#blank#}4{#/blank#} , without a friend, her pet will only sleep. So she sends the pet to the kindergarten. There are 30 cats every day. They can play with each other and make friends. There are also {#blank#}5{#/blank#} at the kindergarten. There the cats fight and climb. They look very cute!
