June 5 is the World Environment (环境) Day. Now more and more people are trying d{#blank#}1{#/blank#} kinds of ways to face environmental problems around the world. What are people doing to protect (保护) our home--the earth? 

    Most people are changing their shopping {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (habit). On the one hand, people may want to buy the secondhand clothes to wear in special situations because they only wear them once or twice. On the o{#blank#}3{#/blank#} hand, there are some companies (公司) for renting (租) clothes and renting clothes is cheaper than b{#blank#}4{#/blank#} them. So people are able to s{#blank#}5{#/blank#} money and protect the environment. 

Several large companies have used paper bottles (瓶子) to take the place; {#blank#}6{#/blank#} glass and plastic ones because there are many customers worrying about the environment. They think paper bottles are easy to recycle and weigh {#blank#}7{#/blank#} (little) than glass or plastic ones. 

A zero-waste life is that people hardly create any rubbish (垃圾). A zero-waste store {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (provide) a number of everyday and pleasant zero-waste products. The store helps people start on a one-stop, zero-waste life trip. A zero-waste life f{#blank#}9{#/blank#} the 6R rules—Refuse, Reduce, Reuse, Repair, Recycle and Rot.

All in all, the earth is our home and it's our d{#blank#}10{#/blank#} to protect it. 

China has many interesting days, Tree Planting Day(植树节)is one of {#blank#}1{#/blank#}.

Tree Planting Day is a day for us to plant trees. Trees are very {#blank#}2{#/blank#} for our planet(星球).They give us green places and make us cool in the summer. They are also {#blank#}3{#/blank#} for many animals and birds. But do you know? Our planet is losing a lot of {#blank#}4{#/blank#} every year. People cut them down to make paper, desks and houses. This {#blank#}5{#/blank#} also bad for our air, and the animals lose their homes. So we plant new trees to clean our planet {#blank#}6{#/blank#} Tree Planting Day. We dig holes(挖坑), {#blank#}7{#/blank#} the tree in, and then water them. Trees are {#blank#}8{#/blank#} dreams. We plant trees like planting dreams in our hearts(心).

So, let's all {#blank#}9{#/blank#} together(一起) and plant some trees today! It is {#blank#}10{#/blank#} and fun to plant trees.

BLACK FRIDAY

You probably know about Singles Day (November 11) in China. On this day, people usually stay up very late at night to shop online in order to{#blank#}1{#/blank#}a lot of money. Well, the US has something similar called Black Friday.

Black Friday is the Friday after Thanksgiving. Last year it fell{#blank#}2{#/blank#}November 29. It's the start of the holiday shopping season and most people don't have to go to work that day. So they start to think about what gifts they want to{#blank#}3{#/blank#}for Christmas.

While Singles Day is usually for online{#blank#}4{#/blank#}, a lot of shopping on Black Friday is done at actual stores. Shoppers look for things especially on electronic products,{#blank#}5{#/blank#}as televisions, computers and video game systems. These things usually have{#blank#}6{#/blank#}prices, but on this day, a few of them are sold at the very low sale prices. So people often fight over these things.

Some people will{#blank#}7{#/blank#}in line for hours before midnight when stores finally open. People camp out in the cold and sometimes get hurt{#blank#}8{#/blank#}the doors are opened and people rush in.

But lately a few stores will start sales even{#blank#}9{#/blank#}on Thanksgiving Day. They do this to hopefully get{#blank#}10{#/blank#}shoppers and stay ahead of the competition.

In the{#blank#}1{#/blank#}(south) part of China, eating qingtuan at the {#blank#}2{#/blank#}(begin) of spring is a kind of tradition. Chinese people {#blank#}3{#/blank#}(start) to eat it more than 2, 000 years ago. It is made of sticky rice (糯米) and red bean paste (红豆沙), and is famous{#blank#}4{#/blank#} its softness, freshness and sweetness. 

People living in the Yangtze River Delta (长江三角洲){#blank#}5{#/blank#}(usual) put qingtu- an in front of the tombs (墓) of their dead family members to remember {#blank#}6{#/blank#}(they). Making qingtuan is also a chance for family members to get together. 

Recently (近来), qingtuan has become popular in {#blank#}7{#/blank#} north of China. Young people are learning how to make qingtuan by watching video online nowadays. Qingtuan has many dif- ferent tastes (口味) inside it, such as apples and bean milk,{#blank#}8{#/blank#}(meet) people's tastes. The difference of the tastes shows that it's getting more and more popular across the whole country. 

There is warm weather and green{#blank#}9{#/blank#}(leaf) in spring,{#blank#}10{#/blank#} the season wouldn't be perfect (完美) without a taste of qingtuan.

②For astronauts in space, exercise is important. The environment is very different in space. Doing sports helps astronauts stay healthy. How do they exercise? There is a spin bike（健身车）, a treadmill（跑步机）, and other fitness equipment（设备）in the space station. The equipment makes it easy for astronauts to work out. 

③Astronauts live in a weightless environment, so they can't take showers like we do on the earth. Is there a bathroom in the space station? How do they keep themselves clean? Don't worry! Tiangong has a special bathroom. Astronauts can wipe themselves clean with a wet towel（毛巾）. 

④What do astronauts eat in the space station? There is bread and porridge for breakfast. There are also traditional Chinese dishes, like Kung Pao Chicken, fried rice and fried noodles with sliced pork. There is a special "fridge" to store the food. It's made of "aerogel（气凝胶）". The food stays cool in it. 

⑤What if astronauts miss their families? There is special communication equipment in the space station. Astronauts can have personal "sky-to-earth" calls with their families. Usually, the astronauts wear earphones. It not only helps them talk with each other, but also allows them to talk to the ground from any position（位置）.
