My father is at home

    One fine afternoon John plays football in front of a house with his friends. A young woman comes up and asks him,"John, is your father at home?"  "Yes, he is. He is reading a book in his bedroom." Answers John. Then the young woman goes over to press the bell. The bell rings and rings, but no one comes to open the door. The young woman gets angry and calls to him, "You tell me your father is at home, don't you.'?"  "Yes, my father is at home. But my home isn't here."

     In the future, life will be much better. Maybe there will be vision phones (可视电话) in every family. People can have a medical examination without a doctor or a nurse in the room. If people want to do some shopping, they do not need to leave their homes. They will go shopping online. And what about education (教育)？There will be more educational programs on TV, even on the Internet.Children don't need go to school every day. They can study at home.

     Each family will have a robot. Robots will help people with their housework.

     Maybe some people will go to the moon for a holiday and some people can live under the sea in hot summer.

Rabbit: No, it isn't My T—shirt is red.

Giraffe: This small one?

Rabbit: Yes. Thank you.

    Before，there was no zoo in my city．Now there is a big zoo．There are lots of animals．Last Sunday，I went to the zoo with my parents．In the morning，I got up at 7 o'clock．Then，I had breakfast．We went to the zoo by car．I saw many animals in the zoo，such as monkeys，tigers，lions and so on．I was very happy．

    Hello! My name is Sarah. I didn't like summer before. I thought it was too hot for me and I couldn't swim. But now I like summer very much because my father teaches me how to swim and I can eat lots of ice cream. My friend Joe did not like winter before. He thought it was too cold and he couldn't go cycling. Now he likes going ice-skating and playing in the snow. Sometimes we swim and eat ice cream together in summer. We often ice-skate and make a snowman in winter.

    I'm a twenty-year-old girl. I work in a small shop. It is near a school. Every day, a lot of people come to the shop to buy thing.

    I usually get up at five, have a breakfast at six and then go to work by bike. I get to the shop at about half past seven. At eight people begin to arrive. They buy meat, eggs, sugar, candy, cooking oil and many other things. We don't sell vegetables or fruit. There is a shop for those things nearby.

    I have lunch at half past eleven at noon. We close the shop at five in the afternoon. I tidy things up and then go home.

    Some people think my work isn't so interesting, but I enjoy it and feel happy every day.
