Do you often eat out？Do you often like to use disposable (一次性的) chopsticks？Do you think the chopsticks are safe？ {#blank#}1{#/blank#}.

    China produces 80 billion (十亿) pairs of such chopsticks every year. {#blank#}2{#/blank#}. Can you imagine how many trees have to be cut down every year？20 million. Can you imagine how old the trees are？20 years old.   

    Many people choose to use such chopsticks because they think they are cleaner. In fact，they're not safe. {#blank#}3{#/blank#}.

    Several months ago, Huang Bo, a popular actor, wrote a message on his micro blog (微博)．{#blank#}4{#/blank#} Once he went to a restaurant with his friends. He tried to wash the disposable chopsticks. He was surprised to find the chopsticks turned the water yellow and gave off a bad smell.

    That's true. The smell show that they may be dealt with sulphur (硫磺) and other chemicals (化学制品)． That's very bad for people's health.

    {#blank#}5{#/blank#}. It is not only good for our own health but also helpful to save the environment.

Mary and Lisa are sisters. They like the same colour— blue. They like the same sports— swimming and basketball. They go to the same middle school. But they aren't in the same class. They like music and art. Art is their favourite subject. 

But Mary and Lisa have a big difference (不同之处) . Mary has many friends. They like to play with her. But Lisa doesn't have any friends. Their mum sees the difference. She says to Lisa, "My dear, your smile (微笑) is very beautiful. Why not smile often?" Lisa says OK and she tries smiling often. Children come to Lisa. They like her smile. They want to make friends with her. Now Lisa has many friends. She is very happy.

Kanu and Timo are brothers. They like playing soccer very much. They often play it with their friends after school.

One day, Mom asks them to buy some eggs so she can make （做） dinner for the family. When the brothers make their way to the store, they see （看到） some of their friends playing soccer on a field （运动场）.

"Let's play soccer for a short time （一会儿） first, and then go to the store," Kanu says to Timo.

Timoagrees. Then the brothers go to the field and play with their friends. They have a lot of fun and lose track of time （忘记时间）. "Oh, no, we have to buy eggs now."

Kanu and Timo run to the store, buy some eggs and go home quickly （迅速地）. "Sorry, Mom. We are late," the brothers say. "We play soccer and lose track of time."

"Boys, it's OK, But next time, do important work （重要的工作） before （在……之前） playing, OK?" Mom says.

Peter was at his grandparents' house. He saw some coins in a bottle in the living room. {#blank#}1{#/blank#} On each coin, Peter saw dates, famous people's faces and values showing how much they are. Peter liked them so much. {#blank#}2{#/blank#}
