    Modem life is not possible without travelling. The fastest way to travel is by plane. With a modem plane, you can travel in one day to {#blank#}1{#/blank#} which it took a month or more to get to one hundred years ago.

    Travelling by train is {#blank#}2{#/blank#}than travelling by plane, but you can see beautiful places {#blank#}3{#/blank#} the windows. Modem trains have comfortable {#blank#}4{#/blank#} and dining cars. They make the long journey pleasant.

    Some people prefer to travel by {#blank#}5{#/blank#}Ships are not so fast as trains or planes, but travelling by sea is a very pleasant way to {#blank#}6{#/blank#}a holiday.

    Many people like to travel by car. You can travel three or four hundred miles or only fifty miles a day, just as you like. You can stop anytime if there is {#blank#}7{#/blank#}interesting to see. That is why travelling by car is {#blank#}8{#/blank#}for pleasure trips, while people usually take a train or a plane for business trips.

    Body language is different in different countries. People in North America like {#blank#}1{#/blank#} space, so don't stand too close to them when you talk. But in South America, people like to hold your arm when you're talking, so it's sometimes hard {#blank#}2{#/blank#} away! When you talk to your {#blank#}3{#/blank#} from Britain, don't touch them, or they will not be happy. And please be {#blank#}4{#/blank#} when you are in Greece: never wave to say goodbye, because it's very {#blank#}5{#/blank#} to do so.

    Few people today educate the children about the value of empathy(同情；同感).Most people feel so hard to{#blank#}1{#/blank#} their love and care towards others and to actually understand what they are going through.

    When I was a child, I was {#blank#}2{#/blank#} to go out of my way to make someone else happy. My mum would tell me to say at least one kind word to someone else every day. I admit that it wasn't very easy to do. But as soon as you see the look of thanks in that person's {#blank#}3{#/blank#}, you just want to do as much as you can.

    I had an experience with a young man {#blank#}4{#/blank#} people were always making fun of. Every time I saw that happening, I knew in my heart that it was wrong. I decided I would try to be his friend. I started walking with him and introducing him to people around {#blank#}5{#/blank#}. I was making him happy by just doing that. And I loved the fact that I was really making a {#blank#}6{#/blank#} in his life.

    After a while, I realized that he wasn't the kind of person everyday thought he was. We are still really good friends today. People have almost {#blank#}7{#/blank#} stopped making fun of him. But he is still what he was. What had changed was the attitudes of others towards him.

    From this experience I {#blank#}8{#/blank#} that I should be more loving towards other people already. What I did for my friend was so easy, and at the same time I had a lot of fun, {#blank#}9{#/blank#} I hope that everyone could say a kind word to someone else at least once a day. I can promise it will be the best feeling you can ever get.

    One kind word could make someone's day {#blank#}10{#/blank#}. Why not do it from now on?
