Kate's Hobby

My name is Kate. I have always wanted to have my own hobby. Until high school, I didn't get a hobby, although I tried many clubs. Last year, my friend  {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (邀请) me to a photo exhibition. At the exhibition, I saw a group of photos by a local  {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (艺术家) who told his life experiences with photos. I suddenly realized that what was  {#blank#}3{#/blank#} (珍贵的) than the photo itself was the story behind the photo, and I became interested in photography. 

Since then, I have dreamed  {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (发明；创造) fantastic works to tell my own life stories. However, I couldn't  {#blank#}5{#/blank#} (付得起) to buy a camera then. Luckily, my grandfather gave me one on my birthday. Then I started taking photos everywhere. I put my photos on the  {#blank#}6{#/blank#} (架子) in my room. My photos have kept my memories of wonderful old days. Taking photos has also become another way for me  {#blank#}7{#/blank#} (交流) with the world. 

Through {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (每日的) practice, my photography skills have improved greatly. So far my photos  {#blank#}9{#/blank#} (赢得) many prizes and I'm really proud of myself. {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (也许) I will hold my own photo exhibition one day.

Joy loves exploring(探索) places on her mountain bike. {#blank#}1{#/blank#}， last month she had an experience she wants to forget. She was {#blank#}2{#/blank#} through the forest while the sun was going down. She was enjoying the beautiful colors in the sky and {#blank#}3{#/blank#} this, she didn't notice a deep hole in the ground and fell into it. What's worse, her arm was caught between two rocks. They were too {#blank#}4{#/blank#} for her to move. As a result, she couldn't get out of the hole. So she started shouting for help, but there was no {#blank#}5{#/blank#}. Night came and Joy was afraid, cold and in a lot of pain. She was too tired and decided to get some {#blank#}6{#/blank#}. But just as she was closing her eyes, she {#blank#}7{#/blank#} a car passing by. Then an idea came to her. She reached her bike with the other hand, turned {#blank#}8{#/blank#} the light and moved it around. Luckily, the driver of the car saw the light and came to see {#blank#}9{#/blank#} it was. Joy was saved {#blank#}10{#/blank#}！

 Matt is a primary school student who loves playing with little animals. One day, when he was on {#blank#}1{#/blank#}( he) way to school, he saw a homeless cat sitting {#blank#}2{#/blank#} a box. He took it out from the box. It was a black-and-white cat with bright eyes. The cat was so cute that Matt played with it.

 The longer Matt played with the cat, the {#blank#}3{#/blank#}( much) he liked it. The little cat followed him as he left for school. Matt then decided {#blank#}4{#/blank#}( take) the cat to school with him. He put the cat in his schoolbag {#blank#}5{#/blank#} went to school happily.

 After Matt entered the class, he told some {#blank#}6{#/blank#}( classmate) about the cat. As he opened the schoolbag to show them {#blank#}7{#/blank#} cat, it suddenly jumped out and {#blank#}8{#/blank#}( start) running around the classroom. It even jumped onto the teacher's desk! Everyone in class was {#blank#}9{#/blank#}( excite). Just at that time, the teacher came in and caught the cat {#blank#}10{#/blank#}( quick). Matt felt embarrassed and his face turned red.

 To Matt's surprise, the teacher came up to him with a smile, saying, "Matt, you're a nice boy, but you are not allowed to take it to school."
