    Chicago is a famous city in the US. If you have a(n) {#blank#}1{#/blank#}to go to the US, it is a good idea {#blank#}2{#/blank#}Chicago.

    In the US, Chicago is the third {#blank#}3{#/blank#}city. It is home to people from all over the world. People move to Chicago from {#blank#}4{#/blank#} places to live with their families or friends. They come to this city by train, plane or ship.

    The centre of Chicago is {#blank#}5{#/blank#}The Loop. You can see many tall {#blank#}6{#/blank#} here, even some of the tallest in the world. As you travel away from The Loop, you will find there are places of different {#blank#}7{#/blank#} cultures (文化l). But you can't travel east out of The Loop {#blank#}8{#/blank#}of Lake Michigan.

    When you travel south of The Loop, you will find {#blank#}9{#/blank#} like Chinatown. There, people from 'China celebrate many festivals as people in their home town do. They also celebrate the holidays of the US.

    Remember to take many {#blank#}10{#/blank#} with you when you go to Chicago. Why? Because Chicago is called the Windy City.

Elephants are smart{#blank#}1{#/blank#}. They can {#blank#}2{#/blank#}soccer or music. They can also draw very{#blank#}3{#/blank#}. People say that "An elephant never {#blank#}4{#/blank#}". Elephants can walk for a long time and never get lost. They can also remember places with food and water. This helps{#blank#}5{#/blank#}to live.

The Netherlands needs thousands of new houses because the country {#blank#}1{#/blank#}(have) a growing population. Anyway, it may not have to build all those houses. Some of {#blank#}2{#/blank#}(they) can be printed.

 {#blank#}3{#/blank#}(recent), the government has been working together with a university and some building companies to build houses that are fully 3D-printed. As volunteers, an old couple has become the first people in Europe to move into such {#blank#}4{#/blank#} house.

With two {#blank#}5{#/blank#}(bedroom) and a big living room, the house was built layer(层) by layer, using a huge 3-D printer and special cement(水泥). After being printed out, the house {#blank#}6{#/blank#} (carry) by a truck to the building site, and a roof(屋顶) and windows were later added. It took around 120 hours {#blank#}7{#/blank#} (finish) this 3D-printed house. Usually, it takes about one or two years to build a house in the {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (tradition) way.

The couple will live {#blank#}9{#/blank#} this house for six months, with a monthly pay of 800 euros (欧元). The cost seems a little bit high, {#blank#}10{#/blank#} they think it is much cheaper than living in a hotel.

Spider monkeys are New World primates(灵长类). They get their names because they have very long limbs(四肢) and tails, which make them look like spiders. They are often seen with their limbs on different branches.

Spider monkeys can be in tropical forests of Central and South America, from southern Mexico to Brazil. They are 35 to 66 centimeters long and weigh 13 to 26 pounds. They have long tails that they use to catch tree branches, kind of like a 5th hand.

Spider monkeys live in groups. One group usually has dozens of spider monkeys. They communicate with each other through screeches (尖叫声). At night, spider monkeys break off into smaller sleeping parties of about half a dozen or fewer. Unlike many other primates, males (雄性) stay together throughout their lives with the females. They leave their first groups to find another group.

When they go out to look for food, spider monkey groups take separate actions in order to avoid competition for it. They mainly eat fruit and nuts. They also eat other things like insects, honey, leaves, spiders and bird eggs. Spider monkeys actually play an important part in the spreading of seeds throughout the South American rain forests. Enemies that they need to keep an eye out for include animals like lions and crocodiles.

Spider monkeys are dying out. Woodcutting, which leads to the loss(丧失) of their natural living places, is playing a big role in their loss. These monkeys are also hunted for food, or to sell as pets. Spider monkeys are actually one of the most popular monkey pets around because of their look and their behavior. We must do something to protect them. After all, such good and interesting monkeys should live with humans for many years to come.
