Hi! My name's Elina. I'm 13 years old and I am a middle school student. Here I want to talk about my classroom with you. It is small, but new and nice. There are big windows so there is a lot of light (光线) in it. There is a table for the teacher and twelve desks for students. Two students share(合用) one desk. There is a black- board on the front wall. On the other walls there are some pictures of animals- elephants, bears and horses. There are also two maps there. One is a map of Great Britain and the other is a map of Eu- rope (欧洲). There are four computers in my classroom. I sit in Row (排) One and share a desk with Linda. She is my new classmate and my best friend, too. |
I love reading. I spend over seven hours a week reading different kinds of books.{#blank#}1{#/blank#}I read a lot at the weekend.
I am interested in story books. I enjoy reading the books of Robert Louis Stevenson because I find them really interesting. For example, Treasure Island tells the story of a young boy who sailed (航行) the sea to look for the hidden treasure.{#blank#}2{#/blank#} His story gave me a lot of confidence. After reading the book, I am not as shy as before and I am willing to try new things. I get my books from Sunshine Library- it is just on the other side of my home. My friends give me lots of advice on books. We often meet together and talk about what to read.
