Spring is here, and it is time to enjoy West Lake Longjing tea. Usually, we think of workers picking tea leaves by hand. But now, some Longjing tea is being picked by smart tea-picking robots!

In a Hangzhou tea garden, a smart tea-picking robot developed by Zhejiang SciTech University begin to work for the first time. "We took thousands of pictures of new tea buds (芽) and put them into the robot for it to learn. The robot uses an AI model to recognize (识别) the buds it needs to pick,"said Professor Chen Jianneng, Party branch secretary (党支部书记) of the research team. This lets the robot find the right tea buds about 90% of the time.

The robot's arm pulls and sucks (吸) up the tea buds. These buds are quickly moved into a special box. After the robot collects all the buds from the area it's working at, it moves the buds from the box to a main box.

The robot was made because there are not enough people to pick tea leaves. In Zhejiang, about 400,000 more pickers are needed now. "Picking is the biggest challenge for the development of the tea industry," said Professor Wu Chuanyu, who leads the research team.

"Tea-picking robots are a trend (趋势) of the future," said Wu. About five years from now, the robots will do the job of picking West Lake Longjing tea instead of people, Wu added.

A man walked in a mountain for a long time. The mountain road was long and hard to walk on. Though he carried a small bag, the road was very difficult for him. He was very tired. Just in front of him, he saw a little girl, less than 10 years old, carrying a boy on her back. She was also moving on slowly. She was out of breath and kept sweating（出汗）, but her hands still firmly（牢牢地）held the boy on her back.

When passing by the little girl, the man said to her, "My girl, you must be very tired because what you carry is so heavy! Why don't you stop and have a rest?" Hearing this, the little girl said, "What I carry is not a weight（重物）. He is my little brother and he is badly ill. I must take him to the hospital as soon as possible."

It is true that both a brother and a burden（负担）have a weight. But what the little girl said is also true: What she carried was her little brother not a weight. She loved her little brother from the bottom of her heart.

Every country has its popular(受欢迎的) food. Italians(意大利人) like to eat pizza. Indians like to eat hot food. The Japanese would like to eat fish and they usually don't cook it. In England, people's favorite food is fish and chips. People love it because(因为) it is not dear and it's nice. People usually buy it in a fish and chip shop. Then take it home or to their workplaces. People in America like to eat a takeaway(外卖食物) like chicken. But the most popular takeaway is the hamburgers. We Chinese have our favorite food, too. We usually have rice, noodles and jiaozi. China is a great country, and Chinese food is popular in the world. No matter where you are, you can find a lot of Chinese restaurants. 

A new rubbish sorting system(垃圾分类系统) has been put into use in Fangchengyuan Community in Beijing. Local people not only sort their rubbish，but also put QR codes(二维码) on it. 

"When the rubbish is collected and the codes are seen，I will get reward points to exchange for small gifts and even some money，"one of the local people told reporters. "It's really creative and encouraging. "

This smart system has been carried out in 350 communities in Beijing. The capital of China has joined a list of cities in the country that take action to support rubbish sorting. For example，Shenzhen and Shanghai have made laws to punish people and organizations for not sorting rubbish correctly. 

China produces quite a lot of rubbish every year. Much of the rubbish is buried(填埋) in soil or burned without being sorted. Landfills take up a lot of land and have a risk of polluting the soil and water nearby. And burning rubbish can produce harmful gases. Through rubbish sorting，we can reduce the use of landfills and air pollution. 

What's more, rubbish sorting saves resources, which could bring economic benefits(经济利益). For example，a ton of waste paper can be reused to make about 850 kg of paper，saving 17 trees and 50 percent of water. Because of their benefits，some countries have developed successful sorting systems. 

Japan has a strict and detailed system. When people throw away a water bottle，the cap，the wrapper(包装纸) and the bottle itself have to go into three different bins. Every year，families receive special rubbish sorting timetables and directions from their local governments. They are advised to follow the timetables and directions when they throw away rubbish. 

In Australia，every family is provided with three rubbish bins—the red lid(盖子) bin for "general waste" like food and plastic bags，the yellow lid bin for "recycling" like steel and glass，and the green lid bin for "green waste" such as grass and leaves. On the streets，the bins are printed with pictures of the things that are allowed inside. It takes recycling quite easy. 

Throughout history, the pillow (枕头) has a very long history.
