Yang Weiyun, over 70 years old, is teaching pinyin on TikTok. She also 1 reading and writing. Mrs Yang used to be a Chinese teacher at a primary school for about 30 years and a kindergarten (幼儿园) head for 2 20 years. 

After retiring (退休), Mrs Yang wanted to do 3 meaningful. Then she got the  4 of using the Internet to give lessons. Soon she 5 teaching pinyin on TikTok. At first, her classes were for kindergarten kids who will go to 6 schools next year. However, she 7 found there were more and more adults (成年人) in her" class". And most of them weren't8 to read or write.
