Researchers did a survey among 5,000 students from more than 100 primary schools in the U.K. They asked the students whether they had breakfast and what they ate for breakfast. Finally, they found out that the students who ate a healthy breakfast got better grades.
The answer is yes. Researchers say that situations are different in different countries. For example, in the United States, about 8 to 12 percent of all students in grade school do not eat breakfast. When students are in high school, 20 to 30 percent of them ignore (忽视) the morning meal.
