It's summer. The deer and the bear swim in the lake. They are happy. 'I like summer.' says the deer. 'Why do you like summer?' asks the bear. 'Because I can swim in the lake.' It's autumn. The deer and the bear go hiking. They eat a lot. Winter comes. The bear can't skate. The bear sleeps at home. Spring comes. The bear wakes up. The deer and the bear go to fly kites. How happy they are! 'I like winter.' says the bear. 'Because I can sleep for a long time.'

    Last holiday in winter, I went to Hainan with my parents. The beach was so nice.I ate lots of sea food there. I took some beautiful pictures of the sea. I bought many postcards for my friends. It wasn't cold in winter. We went swimming every day. My father bought a white T-shirt and my mother bought a purple dress.

    Len was thirty years old and he had very long hair. He lived in a big city. Because of his long hair, he did not find any work. One day he met an old friend, and this man said to him," People in this city don't like long hair. Why don't you go to a barber? He can cut a lot of it off, and then you can get some work." At the barber's Len said to the barber," Please cut most of my hair off."

    The barber began. He cut and cut for a long time and then he said to Len," Were you in the army a few years ago?"

    "Yes, I was." Len answered. "Why did you ask that?"

    "Because I found a cap in your hair."

A trip to Hongkong

    Good morning everyone. I'm Alice, your tour guide on our trip to Hongkong. I'd like to tell you about the trip now. Tomorrow morning we are leaving for Hongkong by bus. Bus will leave at 8:15 at the gate of the hotel. We'll arrive at Hongkong in about 5 hours. Tomorrow afternoon, we're going to the Ocean Park. Then we'll go to the hotel near Disneyland. After dinner, we'll go to the Disneyland to see the parade(游行) and the firework show. On Saturday, we'll stay in Disneyland for a day. On Saturday night, we'll stay in a hotel in Monka. Sunday is free. You could go shopping to the shopping mall by underground. Hongkong is a good place for shopping. At 4 o'clock, on Sunday afternoon, our bus will leave Hongkong for Guangzhou. I'll see you at 8 in the morning at the gate of the hotel. Don't forget your pass and don't be late, please.
