I'm Wendy．I'm from Canada．Now I live in Guangzhou．Guangzhou is windy and cool in winter．It doesn't snow, and sometimes it's rainy．Today is January 28th，Spring Festival．I wear my new sweater and jeans．I go to the park with my parents in the morning．I visit my aunt Alice in the afternoon．In the evening，I have a big meal．I have chicken，beef，fish，mutton， tomatoes and carrots．They are delicious．

    Mr. Black and his wife live in New York with their children . They are very busy all day .

    On Sundays they get up early . They don't have a big breakfast , only coffee , bread and butter . Then they go to church . After that , they all go to the park in the centre of the city .

    First they get up early . They sit under the tree and have their picnic lunch . The children fly their kites . Mr. Black always sleeps after lunch on Sundays .

    In the afternoon , the children ride their bikes . At about five o'clock , they buy fruit or ice cream and then they catch the bus to go home .

    They have supper at home . Then the children go to bed . Mr. Black goes to bed early on Sunday .

    Today I go to the farm with my parents by bus. We see many animals on the farm. There are some sheep, pigs, horses, ducks, cows and chicks. They are fat and very lovely. Sheep and cows like eating grass. Pigs like sleeping. Horses like running. Ducks like swimming. Chicks like walking. We go home at five. We have a good time today.

    It is 4:30 in the afternoon. School is over. Some children are in the playground. Look! Lily and Jenny are talking under the tree. Sam, Bob and Amy are playing a game. Frank and Jill want to join them. Sam says," OK. Please take turns." Look at the girl near the garden. She is Kate. She is reading a book quietly.

Mike: What's your favourite season?

Sarah: My favourite season is autumn.

Mike: Do you like winter?

Sarah: No. I don't. It's too cold.

Mike: Why do you like autumn, Sarah?

Sarah: Because I can pick fresh apples. And I can eat a lot. The colours are beautiful, too. What about you?

Mike: I like winter best. I like snow.
