What Is My Job?

    Jim, Sam, Linda and I live in a building with four floors. We live on different floors. We have different jobs : one is a driver, one is a manager(经理) ,one is painter and one is a writer. I live above( 在……上面)Linda but below (在……下面)Jim. Sam lives on the fourth floor. The driver lives above the manager but below the writer. The painter lives on the first floor. Do you know who I am and what my job is?

    The students in Grade Six are going to face（面临） the biggest exam（考试）. They study very hard. Every day they do a lot of exercises of Chinese, maths and English.

    Li Jun is a student in Class Two. He is good at English and maths. But his Chinese is not so good. So he has to do some reading after the homework.

    Li Yan is Li Jun's cousin. She is in Class Three. She likes singing and dancing. She's going to be a singer in the future. Every day, when she finishes her homework, she has to sing and dance for an hour.

Liu Bin: Excuse me, may I ask you some questions?

Li Mei: Sure.

Liu Bin: What's your favourite food?

Li Mei: Chicken and hamburgers.

Liu Bin: Me too. Why do you like them?

Li Mei: Because they're delicious.

Liu Bin: What's your father's favourite food?

Li Mei: He likes noodles and beef.

Liu Bin: What about your mother?

Li Mei: She likes bread and sandwiches. But she doesn't like chicken.

Liu Bin: What would you like to eat?

Li Mei: I'd like some tomatoes and noodles.

Liu Bin: What would you like to drink?

Li Mei: I'd like some orange juice.

Liu Bin: It's time for lunch now. Would you like to eat some food in a restaurant?

Li Mei: Yes, I'd love to. Let's go.

Save Our Planet

Save electricity

    Don't leave the TV on standby(待机) .

    Switch off all the lights when the room is empty.

    Tum up the air-conditioning by a couple of degrees. You don't need to live in a fridge.

Pollution

    Don't drop litter. Clean up your own mess, whether you are in town or out for a walk in the countryside. Birds and animals eat your leftovers (残余食物) and this can be very harmful (有害的) to them. Litter can also pollute rivers and the sea and can poison (毒死) the fish.

    Use public transport. Ride a bike or walk. Get your Mum and Dad out of their cars. They waste energy and pollute the air.

    Encourage your parents to buy eco-friendly ( 环保型的) cleaning products which use fewer harmful chemicals (化学物品) . Despite (尽管) the high price, they are well worth the extra money you spend more to save the environment!

Water

    Tum the tap off when you brush your teeth. We brush our teeth at least twice a day and each time we can waste 2-3 liters of water!

    Don't overfill the kettle. Put in just the amount you need. You will also save electricity!

Hello, everyone! I'm Nancy. I am a pupil. I go to school from Monday to Friday, but I don 't like Thursday. I like Monday, because we have music, art and math on Monday. They are all my favourite subjects.

Sally. Andy and Jack are my good friends. Sally is shy. She likes Wednesday, because we have Chinese that day. Andy's favorite subject is science. So he likes Tuesday. Jack doesn't like any subjects. He likes Saturday and Sunday.
