Have you ever been so worried about something that you have a headache or even can't sleep at night? Then you cannot pay enough attention during a test or in your study. If so, then you know that is stress. You are worried too much about something. The bad feeling in your mind can make you angry, sad, or scared, and can even give you a stomachache or a headache.

However, some kind of stress is good. You might feel excited when you are called to give a speech at school. You feel nervous but excited. This kind of stress can help you to get things well done. And you may do a better job in your test if the stress pushes you to prepare more beforehand(提前).

On the other hand, bad stress can last long if you are unable to come over your problems. You may not feel well, if your parents are having a quarrel, if a family member is badly ill, if you're doing poorly at school, or if anything else makes you unhappy. That kind of stress isn't going to help you. And it can actually let you do worse in your daily life.

The best way to fight the stress is to have a balanced life. Make sure you get enough sleep and eat properly. Have some regular exercise. You should take some time for fun. Get advice from your parents, teachers and friends. Soon after that, you'll probably get away with your stress.

阅读下列关于校园欺凌的文章,并完成信息卡。

"No one in this world should be bullied(欺凌)and brought down by people. And no one deserves to hold in all those situations that have happened to them. If you are being bullied, you are supposed to open up and talk about it. I know you may not feel comfortable to say it out, but if you don't, they may gradually get used to bullying you. Remember that you are not alone. Others who get bullied know how you feel. People who love you will listen to you and be there for you. Stand up against bullying today. "

Jessica—15—Michigan

"No one deserves to be bullied. It is just not right and fair. I had a friend who was bullied and I came to help and stopped it. When you see someone being bullied, please tell an adult or try to stop it yourself. You might be worried about being bullied as well, but there is no reason to be, because you are not alone. My classmates and I have set up a club called 'No Bullying' and we will go out our way to help stop bullying at school. "

    Bob—17—North Carolina

"When I went into middle school, there was a boy whom everyone just 'decided' to pick on(欺负). He would always sit alone at lunch and never once had a friend. A few years later I remembered how many times this boy had tried to talk to me, but I never said a word. I was too scared to lose my friends. I was too selfish to help someone in need. It made me cry when thinking of how lonely he feels. Never again will I ever let anyone decide who is "worth" being happy and having friends. And I want others to learn from my mistake. When you see someone down on the ground, have the courage to be the hand that picks him up. "

    Angela—16 —Des Moines IA

"If you've been a bully(欺凌弱小的人), you don't have to admit it, you just have to realize how you made them feel and change the way you behave. If you try to think about others, you will realize how much of a tough time they are going through. We are the future generation, and we are expected to make a change in the world. Take a stand and lend a hand, and someday we will make a difference in the world together. "

    Beverley—15—Washington D.C

Britons are well known for drinking tea. The average (典型的) person in the UK drinks around 1.9 kg of tea every year. That's around 876 cups of tea. Tea is drunk by all levels of society. But tea does not grow in Britain. Most tea grows in India and China. So, how did it become an important part of British culture?

Tea arrived in London in the 1600s. At this time, British ships were exploring the world and came across the drink in China. It was not long before green tea could be bought from the market. However, it was only for the rich people.

At the beginning of the 1700s, the amount (数量) of tea arriving in Britain increased rapidly. Black tea arrived at this time. At first this tea served exactly as it was in China. They soon discovered that it mixed really well with a little milk and sugar, giving the drink a special British colour.

In the 1800s, tea was still a product enjoyed only by people with money. At this time, they began to have "afternoon tea". They drank tea with a snack around 4 pm to avoid feeling hungry between lunch and dinner. It is a still going today but has become less popular in recent times.
