My name is Frank. I love soccer. I have {#blank#}1{#/blank#} soccer ball. I play soccer {#blank#}2{#/blank#} school with my friends. It's {#blank#}3{#/blank#} (relax). Gina is my sister. We are in the {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (two) middle school. She {#blank#}5{#/blank#} (have) two soccer balls, three volleyballs, four basketballs and four ping-pong {#blank#}6{#/blank#} (bat). She loves sports, {#blank#}7{#/blank#} she doesn't play them. She only {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (watch) them on TV.

Wang Wei is my classmate. He likes ping-pong and plays it {#blank#}9{#/blank#} (good). It's easy for {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (he). He has three ping-ping balls and a ping-pong bat.

When children read to Danny, he never stops them or corrects them. He just sits quietly and listens patiently. Danny is a "listening1 ". He is part óf a reading program for children. The name of the program is R.E.A.D.

This program helps2 children's reading and communication skills in a special way -' reading to dogs, but not any dog. R.E.A.D. dogs are therapy animals (治疗动物). " We all know that learning to read well is very3 . Teachers always ask children to read aloud.4 reading aloud in class is very difficult for some children. They are afraid that other children will5 them," says Danny' S trainer, Tony Nevett. But a listening dog like Danny won't make fun of them. The children will feel safe.It's also fun for them. They even start to6 reading aloud. As a result, their reading gets better.

This program7 helps the dogs. Many of them live in dog shelters and need a home. After some8 , the dogs learn to be comfortable with people they don' t know. This helps them to be9 for adoption (收养）.

The R. E.A.D. program started in the USA."We have many success stories," says Tony. He hopes the program will spread to more places. Children who10 the program learn to love reading. This helps them succeed in school.

Doing projects is a fun way to learn as I can practise what I have been taught. I enjoy hands-on learning as it keeps me 1 in what I am doing. By putting what I have learnt into practice, I can test my own knowledge to see 2 I have fully understood what was taught. Even if I make 3 , I can learn from them. 

Once, I was given a gardening project for 4 class. For the project, my classmates and I had to grow plants from seeds and note down their progress over a month. Our teacher 5 each of us basil（罗勒叶）seeds to plant in the school garden. Following her instructions, each of us wet some cotton wool, put it in a small container, placed our seeds into the soil and left it in our classroom. We then waited a few 6 for the seeds to come out. I checked my seeds every day and made sure 7 the cotton wool remained wet. My seeds finally 8 in 7 days, like our teacher said it would.

Wonderful Park has finally reopened after nearly three months of repair! Since my sister Julia's birthday is coming, yesterday my parents took us to the park to have some fun. Julia was very excited as she had never been to Wonderful Park before.

We arrived at the park early in the morning. While we were buying tickets at the ticket office, Julia was told that she could enjoy free admission during her birthday month. She could also get some pin s and stickers for free. Julia was over the moon with her birthday presents. After buying our tickets, Julia wanted to ride the Ferris wheel. However, Mum suggested going to the King's Theatre first as a musical was about to begin.

We were attracted by the delicious smell of popcorn while we were on the way to the King's Theatre. We bought two bags of chocolate popcorn and it tasted good. Before we entered the theatre, there were two cartoon characters standing at the entrance. They were lovable so Julia and I took some photos with them. The show began at ten forty-five. Though I am not a big fan of musicals, it was really great. All the performers sang and danced well. There was a huge round of applause (掌声) when the show ended. Then, we went to the ride. It was the last stop and also the most enjoyable part of our trip.

Here are the photos we took. The first one shows the chocolate popcorn. It was yummy! Next are the photos we took at the entrance of the King's Theatre. The cartoon characters are giving me and Julia a big hug! Here comes the photo that J like best. We took this after we rode on the Ferris wheel. Dad is putting his arm around Mum's shoulders. Julia is making a V sign with her fingers and I am making a silly face. It is a nice family photo. We all look forward to visiting the park again!

One day, a snake climbed out of a box of bananas and {#blank#}1{#/blank#} somewhere. When Henry was working, the snake bit him. He {#blank#}2{#/blank#} the snake across the kitchen and took its photo. While he was trying to find the snake, his hand began to hurt badly and his face turned {#blank#}3{#/blank#}. At the hospital, the pain got worse. The doctors {#blank#}4{#/blank#} the photo to a zoo. After they found out what kind of snake bit him, they gave him the right {#blank#}5{#/blank#}. 

In Henry's opinion, it's very helpful to take a photo if a snake bites you. 

In the seventh grade when my mother told me that I should join the golf team, I thought she was crazy. But as usual, my mother1 in the end. I played in the2 team in the seventh and eighth grade. Then, I became more and more interested in golf. 

The summer 3 high school came, I strongly wanted to join the golf team in high school. So, I spent nearly every weekend on the golf course （场地）4 that summer . This 5 relationship（关系） with my parents lasted for all my high school years. My parents thought that it was 6 the hours we spent together on the golf course, we became closer.
