William Shakespeare is one of the greatest writers in English literature. His plays can be divided into three categories: histories, tragedies (悲剧) and comedies. Shakespeare wrote eighteen comedies, although two were lost. These comedies usually have happy endings and a light-hearted tone and style that are quite different from his tragedies.

    All of Shakespeare's comedies have five acts and the most important or exciting point always takes place in the third act. The hero does not appear until after other characters have talked about him. Shakespeare had some themes that he usually wrote about: the fight between good and bad, love's great effect on people, and the difference between first appearance and a person's true personality or face. Shakespeare also wrote his play in a certain style. For example, Shakespeare used words in such a clever and humorous way that they had more than one meaning. Some of the characters changed their appearances so that people didn't know who they were.

    Even though the tone is lighter in these plays. Comedies in Shakespeare's day were quite different from modern-day comedies because their purpose was not to make people laugh. Shakespeare's comedies are very emotional (有感染力的) and often include serious topics to think about.

This is a story about Goldilocks. One day, Goldilocks walked into the forest and {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (采; 摘) some flowers. There were so many flowers that she forgot the time.{#blank#}2{#/blank#} (不久) Goldilocks found she was lost because it was {#blank#}3{#/blank#} (黑暗的). She looked {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (围绕) her, and saw a little house. So she walked {#blank#}5{#/blank#} (朝……方向) it. After some time, she was in front of the door. Then she {#blank#}6{#/blank#} (敲) on the door, but there was {#blank#}7{#/blank#} (没有人) in. She didn't think too much and {#blank#}8{#/blank#}(进入) the house. Then she {#blank#}9{#/blank#}(注意到) three bowls. She was very hungry and {#blank#}10{#/blank#}(吃完)all the food in a small bowl.

There are twelve months in a year. My favorite 1 is October. First, October 1st is National Day. It's an important festival in China. Everyone is free and 2 on this day. We have  a seven- day holiday(假期). During the holiday, my 3 often take me to see my grandparents in the countryside (乡村). 4 , there are some interesting and fun things in 5 . On the12th, we have a soccer game. I love playing soccer but I don't love basketball 6 it's difficult for me. On October 20th, we have a 7 sale. I have three old books and I want to 8 them there. Then we have a ( an) 9 festival on October 29th. We can draw many beautiful pictures. My birthday is also on this day. October is a really 10 month for me!

Harry loves to travel. He left 1 home in Beijing when he was eighteen years old. He never spent more than 6 months in any countries. For the first two years, he travelled around Asia. 2 he went to Europe, where he visited ten different countries in three years. He 3 now in South America, travelling across Brazil（巴西）.

Sometimes Harry 4 a job to earn money. He worked as（作次）a cleaner in a factory in India for a few months. When he was in Italy, he worked as a waiter in a restaurant. Harry 5 friends in every country that he visits. They 6 invite him to stay with 7 . He helps them 8 the housework in return for this.

Harry will 9 in China when he finishes travelling, but he knows 10 more countries to visit before then.

There are some {#blank#}1{#/blank#} rooms in our school. We like them and always want to go there. 

The library is a great place to read and learn. There are so many books in it and it's also a quiet place for {#blank#}2{#/blank#}. to study. We can go there every day and usually spend half an hour {#blank#}3{#/blank#} books. 

The art room is a colorful place. We can learn to draw, paint or make handicrafts (手工艺品) in it. There we use many materials (材料) to make beautiful paintings and handicrafts. We can go there {#blank#}4{#/blank#} class. 

The music room is our favorite place. It is not big {#blank#}5{#/blank#} very beautiful. There are different {#blank#}6{#/blank#} of instruments (乐器) and we can play the guitar, the piano or even the violin. We learn to sing songs and write songs. It's {#blank#}7{#/blank#} interesting place to enjoy music. 

The computer room {#blank#}8{#/blank#} us to learn computer skills (技能). We can learn how to find out information on the Internet. There {#blank#}9{#/blank#} a big screen on the wall and 60 computers on the desks. 

All these rooms are{#blank#}10{#/blank#} good for our growth (成长). They make our school a great place to study.
