Our English teacher was like a friend to us, and we all liked her. One day she came 1 the classroom and shouted, “Who did this?” She held up a piece of broken glass and asked, “Who 2 the window?” She seldom became angry. 3 this time she was.

    I broke the window. I had done that  4 throwing a baseball. I didn't want to admit (承认) it 5 I didn't have enough money to pay for a big window 6 that .“My father will be 7,”I thought. At first I didn't put up my hand, but later something strong in my heart suddenly made me 8 up. “I did it,” I said. How difficult it was for me to say that!

    My teacher 9 a book from one of our book shelves and then began walking towards my desk. I was afraid that she was going to punish(惩罚) me.

    Hello, everyone! My name is Dylan. I am 13 years old. I have a special friend. He is 1 ET (外星人).

    On weekdays, we usually get up at 6:50. We 5 at 7:20 and get to school at 8:00. Our first class 6 at 9:00. My favourite lesson is Maths. But 7 is English. At lunchtime, I eat a lot of nice food with him. In the afternoon, I have no classes. The ET teaches me many new things.

    My father brought home a sailboat when I was ten, and almost each Sunday in summers we would go sailing. Dad was quite skilled in sailing, but not good at1. As for me, I2both before twelve because of living close to Lake Ontario.

    The last time Dad and I set sail together is really3. It was a perfect weekend after I graduated from university. I came home and4Dad to go sailing. Out we set soon on the calm lake. Dad hadn't sailed for years, but everything5well with the tiller(舵柄) in his hands.

Another huge wave of water12the boat in a minute. We were thrown into the water, and Dad was struggling aimlessly. At that moment, I felt strongly 13 of him.

    I swam to Dad 14 and assisted(帮助) him in climbing onto the hull(船壳) of the boat. Upon sitting on the hull, Dad was a little awkward about his flash of15. "It's all right, Dad. We are safe now. " I comforted him.

    The entire crowd became dead silent. I dare say you couldn't hear anything but the 8. We all stood silently. Mom stopped to for a moment about what she would say. "Honey, you are absolutely right. Let's run through the rain. If we get wet, maybe we just need  9," Mom said. Then off they ran.

    We all stood watching, smiling and laughing as they  10 past the cars. They held their shopping bags over their 11 just in case. They got wet. But they were12by a few who screamed and laughed like children all the 13 to their cars. And yes, I did. I ran. I got wet. I needed washing.
