    People have different ways of greeting each other. They might shake {#blank#}1{#/blank#}  (hand), kiss or hug. But do you ever wonder {#blank#}2{#/blank#}dogs say hello?

    If you are a dog lover, you may know the answer {#blank#}3{#/blank#} this question.  When you arrive home, your dog {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (jump) up into your lap. It wags its tail, and sometimes gives you wet kisses.

    Like humans, dogs have five senses: smell, touch, sight, hearing and taste. Humans use sight as the main sense for {#blank#}5{#/blank#} (recognize) one another. But dogs have poor eyesight. They use smell to recognize others. A dog's sense of smell is much {#blank#}6{#/blank#} (good) than a human's. It is its sense of smell that tells the {#blank#}7{#/blank#} (different) between different people.

    Smell {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (use) by dogs to recognize other dogs too. They tell {#blank#}9{#/blank#}  differences by the smell of pee. When two dogs meet, they smell each other's noses.  Then they go side to side, and smell each other's butts. {#blank#}10{#/blank#} smelling its friend's behind, a dog knows who it is with.

    That is also why dogs smell everything they can on the road. By smelling grass, trees and signposts, dogs know which other neighborhood dogs have been around.

    One Sunday morning, I wanted to buy a computer to use for school.  I went to the{#blank#}1{#/blank#}(big) store in town, which sold all kinds of computers. There were {#blank#}2{#/blank#}many computers there that I didn't know" how to choose a right one. Then a young man greeted me with a sweet smile. He looked like not a salesman {#blank#}3{#/blank#}a student like me .I had a strange feeling as if I had met him before.  He began showing me each model {#blank#}4{#/blank#}(patient). With his help, I decided {#blank#}5{#/blank#}(buy) one computer with enough functions at a very low price. I enjoyed this shopping experience because of his smile. A few {#blank#}6{#/blank#}(month) later, something was wrong with my computer. I went back to the store to have it repaired. When I arrived there, what I saw was still his smile. As soon as I told him my problem, he comforted me immediately and tried his best to {#blank#}7{#/blank#}(solve) the problem for me. I was quite thankful for {#blank#}8{#/blank#}(he) sweet smile and good service.

    When I went back to school, his smile often appeared in my mind. I realized smiling is{#blank#}9{#/blank#} most peaceful language in the daily life. I don't know {#blank#}10{#/blank#} we'll meet each other again, but his sweet smile will stay there in my memory and deep in my heart.

    Should you help them if the old fall down on the street? At 9:00 a. m, yesterday, a bus driver, 24- year old Wang Ping saw a man {#blank#}1{#/blank#}(lie) on the side of the road.

    A woman next {#blank#}2{#/blank#}him was shouting for help. Wang Ping stopped the bus without {#blank#}3{#/blank#}(think) twice. He got off and asked the woman {#blank#}4{#/blank#}happened, She said that the man had a heart problem and should be sent to the {#blank#}5{#/blank#}at once. Mr. Wang knew that he had to act {#blank#}6{#/blank#}(quick). He hoped all of the passengers(乘客) would get off and wait for the next bus. But to {#blank#}7{#/blank#}(he) surprise, they all agreed to go with him. Some people helped Mr. Wang move the man {#blank#}8{#/blank#}the bus.

    Thanks to Mr. Wang and the passengers, the doctors {#blank#}9{#/blank#}(save) the man in time. A passenger said, "Many people don't want to help others because they don't want to get into trouble. But the driver didn't think of {#blank#}10{#/blank#}(him). We should learn from him."

    Travel can teach kids more than a textbook. Travelling with kids is good {#blank#}1{#/blank#}them. They can find new interests. Travel makes information alive for kids, and makes it much more exciting than studying textbooks or{#blank#}2{#/blank#}experiments in the lab. While traveling, they learn{#blank#}3{#/blank#}to deal with new situations, and communicate with other people. They learn patience, because sometimes {#blank#}4{#/blank#}takes a long time to get to some exciting or interesting places.

    I've been traveling since I was seven years old. For me, to stop traveling would be like taking something {#blank#}5{#/blank#}from my soul(灵魂). I can't live without traveling and I wouldn't be who I am if I don't travel. Some people think it's {#blank#}6{#/blank#}to travel after having kids. But in my opinion, when people become parents, it doesn't mean they couldn't travel any more. My children have been traveling since they were three weeks old.

    Bringing a new life into the world comes with many responsibilities(责任)and I'd love to be a good mother. One of my duties is to educate my children. I'm{#blank#}7{#/blank#}thankful that my parents took me on family trips when I was young. I've learned that {#blank#}8{#/blank#}outside world is more colorful than the little one I was living in. Of course, I want to pass these travel {#blank#}9{#/blank#}on to my children.

    I value the memories I have traveling with my children. I'm sure they will always {#blank#}10{#/blank#}them in their lives.
