"Never give up!"It is my law(法则) of my life. It has brought me 1 . I learnt the law from my father's 2  story.

My father was 3  in a poor village in the north of Jiangsu, China. When he was a young boy, he went to school in the morning, and then 4  in the fields till sunset. And then he did his homework and didn't sleep 5  midnight. Life was hard, 6  the family had no money!

At the age of , my father 7  the United States. It was the land of gold. and8  people could become rich there.

"Why don't I go to America?"he thought to 9  , full of hope.

So my father came to America."I had thought it was easy to 10  money in America," he told me."But when I arrived there, I realised it was not true. They did not like to hire (雇用) me because I spoke 11  English. Later, I worked in a small restaurant, cleaning up tables, washing dishes and sweeping the floor. Life was 12  for the first few years, and I worked from am to pm. I wanted to go to school to learn English, but it was impossible. I couldn't 13  to go to school."

My father 14  working hard, and finally succeeded. He often says to me,"If you want something, you have to work for it and never give up."

Things do not come 15  in life. That is what I learnt from my father.

Australians are different from Englishmen in some way. There is more visiting without an appointment（预约）in Australia than in England. All the same, you have to be careful about your timing.

A very close Indian friend talked to me once about how bad he felt when he visited his friends shortly before "Tea"（the evening meal, or dinner, in Australia）. They sat and talked very politely. But clearly his friends wanted him to leave soon.

In Asia, of course, the problem would not arise: the family would ask their friends to have the evening meal with them. But this kind of thing does not come easily to Australians, so do not hope for it. Instead（相反）, leave before dinner. Australians give visitors a hug, or even a kiss, but they don't give visitors a drink when they come for a visit, unlike many Asian countries.

If you come from a country where home help is popular, you should remember that this is usually not true in Australia. So it would be a good idea to help clear the table and wash up when you finish dinner at a friend's place. The hostess（女主人）will certainly thank you for what you do.

At that time, different groups in China were fighting. People forgot about good manners(礼仪). This made Confucius upset. He wanted people to be kind and polite to each other. He believed in the idea of" ren". That means" loying others"." People should follow the Golden Rule," he said. The Golden Rule is" to treat others as you would like to be treated". He believed that a good leader should treat his followers with care. This would help the leader set a good example.

Confucius liked music education. Confucius believed music education was useful. He thought music could make people and things different. And he believed that music could make people get on well with each other. So music made it possible for the society to develop well.

Emma is a young mom and she is good at making bread. With enough eggs and flour（ 面粉），she can make all kinds of bread. In some of her bread，you can see pictures of famous paintings and many cartoon characters. For example，when you cut the Sponge Bob bread，you can see the face of Sponge Bob and some small pieces of bread. The small pieces of bread are all in the shape of the characters from the cartoon. There is a lot of fun in making bread. Emma's son gives her lots of great ideas. Once he drew a picture of happy bees（蜜蜂），and it wasn't long before they appeared in Emma's bread. Her son got a big surprise. From then on，Emma started to make such cute bread. "My little boy loves the bread，and he usually has two pieces for breakfast，"she said. From famous paintings to her son's favorite cartoon characters，Emma shows that there is no end to her imagination（想象力） when it comes to wonderful bread. What do you think of Emma's bread? Would you like to enjoy one piece of it? 

If you visit Wuppertal, Germany, make sure you take the Schwebebahn. It's a railway that runs for 13 kilometres and carries over 80,000 passengers(乘客) every day.

The Schwebebahn travels in a very different way. Its 24-metre-long train doesn't run on the track(轨道), but under it. The track is 12 metres above the river, so as the train goes over the city, passengers can enjoy the exciting sights freely.

The Schwebebahn didn't come easy. In the 1880s, the traffic in Wuppertal was so busy that the government had to develop a new way of travelling. At that time, a man named Eugen Langen was trying a railway under the track to carry products for his company. It was successful so later Eugen put this idea into the Schwebebahn. In that way, the space above the River Wupper got fully used. It turned out to be a very good choice.

The Schwebebahn gives special travel experiences to passengers. Its stations are as beautiful as art museums, so passengers won't be bored while waiting in the stations. A classical train also offers all kinds of services, such as food and drinks. What's more, people can book this train to have parties or even get married in the air! They will never forget this one- hour journey in the air.

Now the Schwebebahn is more than a railway for Wuppertal. It is a symbol of the city.
